| 1 [5:4] | Yas-aloonaka matha ohilla lahumqul ohilla lakumu alttayyibatu wamaAAallamtum mina aljawarihi mukallibeenatuAAallimoonahunna mimma AAallamakumu Allahufakuloo mimma amsakna AAalaykum waothkurooisma Allahi AAalayhi waittaqoo Allaha innaAllaha sareeAAu alhisabi |  يسألونك ماذا أحل لهم قل أحل لكم الطيبات وما علمتم من الجوارح مكلبين تعلمونهن مما علمكم الله فكلوا مما أمسكن عليكم واذكروا اسم الله عليه واتقوا الله إن الله سريع الحسابيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّهُ فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| ماذا - what| أحل - (is) made lawful| لهم - for them.| قل - Say,| أحل - "Are made lawful| لكم - for you| الطيبات - the good things| وما - and what| علمتم - you have taught| من - of| الجوارح - (your) hunting animals,| مكلبين - ones who train animals to hunt,| تعلمونهن - you teach them| مما - of what| علمكم - has taught you| الله - Allah.| فكلوا - So eat| مما - of what| أمسكن - they catch| عليكم - for you,| واذكروا - but mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| سريع - is swift| الحساب - (in taking) account.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:118] | Fakuloo mimma thukira ismuAllahi AAalayhi in kuntum bi-ayatihimu/mineena | فكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه إن كنتم بآياته مؤمنين فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكلوا - So eat| مما - of what| ذكر - (is) mentioned| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| بآياته - in His Verses -| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:119] | Wama lakum alla ta/kuloo mimmathukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassalalakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtumilayhi wa-inna katheeran layudilloona bi-ahwa-ihimbighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu bialmuAAtadeena | وما لكم ألا تأكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه وقد فصل لكم ما حرم عليكم إلا ما اضطررتم إليه وإن كثيرا ليضلون بأهوائهم بغير علم إن ربك هو أعلم بالمعتدين وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلاَّ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلاَّ مَا اضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَائِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُعْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| لكم - for you| ألا - that not| تأكلوا - you eat| مما - of what| ذكر - has been mentioned| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| وقد - when indeed,| فصل - He (has) explained in detail| لكم - to you| ما - what| حرم - He (has) forbidden| عليكم - to you| إلا - except| ما - what| اضطررتم - you are compelled| إليه - to it.| وإن - And indeed,| كثيرا - many| ليضلون - surely lead astray| بأهوائهم - by their (vain) desires| بغير - without| علم - knowledge.| إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord,| هو - He| أعلم - (is) most knowing| بالمعتدين - of the transgressors.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:121] | Wala ta/kuloo mimma lam yuthkariismu Allahi AAalayhi wa-innahu lafisqun wa-inna alshshayateenalayoohoona ila awliya-ihim liyujadilookumwa-in ataAAtumoohum innakum lamushrikoona | ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وإنه لفسق وإن الشياطين ليوحون إلى أوليائهم ليجادلوكم وإن أطعتموهم إنكم لمشركون وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوا - eat| مما - of that,| لم - not| يذكر - has been mentioned| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| وإنه - and indeed, it (is)| لفسق - grave disobedience.| وإن - And indeed,| الشياطين - the devils| ليوحون - inspire| إلى - to| أوليائهم - their friends| ليجادلوكم - so that they dispute with you,| وإن - and if| أطعتموهم - you obey them,| إنكم - indeed, you| لمشركون - (would) be the polytheists.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:138] | Waqaloo hathihi anAAamunwaharthun hijrun la yatAAamuhailla man nashao bizaAAmihim waanAAamun hurrimatthuhooruha waanAAamun la yathkuroonaisma Allahi AAalayha iftiraan AAalayhisayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona | وقالوا هذه أنعام وحرث حجر لا يطعمها إلا من نشاء بزعمهم وأنعام حرمت ظهورها وأنعام لا يذكرون اسم الله عليها افتراء عليه سيجزيهم بما كانوا يفترون وَقَالُواْ هَـذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لاَّ يَطْعَمُهَا إِلاَّ مَن نَّشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لاَّ يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| هذه - "These| أنعام - (are) cattle| وحرث - and crops,| حجر - forbidden,| لا - no (one)| يطعمها - can eat them| إلا - except| من - whom| نشاء - we will,"| بزعمهم - by their claim.| وأنعام - And cattle,| حرمت - forbidden| ظهورها - (are) their backs| وأنعام - and cattle| لا - not| يذكرون - they mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - on it| افتراء - (as) an invention| عليه - against Him.| سيجزيهم - He will recompense them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 6 [22:28] | Liyashhadoo manafiAAa lahum wayathkurooisma Allahi fee ayyamin maAAloomatin AAalama razaqahum min baheemati al-anAAami fakuloo minhawaatAAimoo alba-isa alfaqeera | ليشهدوا منافع لهم ويذكروا اسم الله في أيام معلومات على ما رزقهم من بهيمة الأنعام فكلوا منها وأطعموا البائس الفقير لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ | |||||
| Words | |ليشهدوا - That they may witness| منافع - benefits| لهم - for them,| ويذكروا - and mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| في - on| أيام - days| معلومات - known| على - over| ما - what| رزقهم - He has provided them| من - of| بهيمة - (the) beast| الأنعام - (of) cattle.| فكلوا - So eat| منها - of them| وأطعموا - and feed| البائس - the miserable,| الفقير - the poor.| | ||||||
| 7 [22:34] | Walikulli ommatin jaAAalna mansakanliyathkuroo isma Allahi AAala marazaqahum min baheemati al-anAAami fa-ilahukum ilahunwahidun falahu aslimoo wabashshiri almukhbiteena | ولكل أمة جعلنا منسكا ليذكروا اسم الله على ما رزقهم من بهيمة الأنعام فإلهكم إله واحد فله أسلموا وبشر المخبتين وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا لِيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ فَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَلَهُ أَسْلِمُوا وَبَشِّرِ الْمُخْبِتِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for every| أمة - nation| جعلنا - We have appointed| منسكا - a rite,| ليذكروا - that they may mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| على - over| ما - what| رزقهم - He (has) provided them| من - of| بهيمة - (the) beast| الأنعام - (of) cattle.| فإلهكم - And your God| إله - (is) God| واحد - One,| فله - so to Him| أسلموا - submit.| وبشر - And give glad tidings| المخبتين - (to) the humble ones.| | ||||||
| 8 [22:36] | Waalbudna jaAAalnahalakum min shaAAa-iri Allahi lakum feehakhayrun faothkuroo isma Allahi AAalayhasawaffa fa-itha wajabat junoobuhafakuloo minha waatAAimoo alqaniAAa waalmuAAtarrakathalika sakhkharnaha lakum laAAallakumtashkuroona | والبدن جعلناها لكم من شعائر الله لكم فيها خير فاذكروا اسم الله عليها صواف فإذا وجبت جنوبها فكلوا منها وأطعموا القانع والمعتر كذلك سخرناها لكم لعلكم تشكرون وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَافَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ كَذَلِكَ سَخَّرْنَاهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والبدن - And the camels and cattle -| جعلناها - We have made them| لكم - for you| من - among| شعائر - (the) Symbols| الله - (of) Allah,| لكم - for you| فيها - therein| خير - (is) good.| فاذكروا - So mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - over them| صواف - (when) lined up;| فإذا - and when| وجبت - are down| جنوبها - their sides,| فكلوا - then eat| منها - from them| وأطعموا - and feed| القانع - the needy who do not ask| والمعتر - and the needy who ask.| كذلك - Thus| سخرناها - We have subjected them| لكم - to you| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 9 [22:40] | Allatheena okhrijoo min diyarihimbighayri haqqin illa an yaqooloo rabbuna Allahuwalawla dafAAu Allahi alnnasa baAAdahumbibaAAdin lahuddimat sawamiAAu wabiyaAAun wasalawatunwamasajidu yuthkaru feeha ismu Allahikatheeran walayansuranna Allahu man yansuruhuinna Allaha laqawiyyun AAazeezun | الذين أخرجوا من ديارهم بغير حق إلا أن يقولوا ربنا الله ولولا دفع الله الناس بعضهم ببعض لهدمت صوامع وبيع وصلوات ومساجد يذكر فيها اسم الله كثيرا ولينصرن الله من ينصره إن الله لقوي عزيز الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِن دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّا أَن يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| أخرجوا - have been evicted| من - from| ديارهم - their homes| بغير - without| حق - right| إلا - except| أن - that| يقولوا - they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| الله - (is) Allah."| ولولا - And if not| دفع - Allah checks| الله - Allah checks| الناس - the people,| بعضهم - some of them| ببعض - by others| لهدمت - surely (would) have been demolished| صوامع - monasteries| وبيع - and churches| وصلوات - and synagogues| ومساجد - and masajid -| يذكر - is mentioned| فيها - in it| اسم - (the) name of Allah| الله - (the) name of Allah| كثيرا - much.| ولينصرن - And surely Allah will help| الله - And surely Allah will help| من - (those) who| ينصره - help Him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لقوي - (is) surely All-Strong,| عزيز - All-Mighty.| | ||||||
| 10 [55:78] | Tabaraka ismu rabbika theealjalali waal-ikrami | تبارك اسم ربك ذي الجلال والإكرام تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ | |||||
| Words | |تبارك - Blessed is| اسم - (the) name| ربك - (of) your Lord,| ذي - Owner| الجلال - (of) Majesty| والإكرام - and Honor.| | ||||||
| 11 [73:8] | Waothkuri isma rabbikawatabattal ilayhi tabteelan | واذكر اسم ربك وتبتل إليه تبتيلا وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا | |||||
