| 1 [24:12] | Lawla ith samiAAtumoohu thannaalmu/minoona waalmu/minatu bi-anfusihim khayran waqaloohatha ifkun mubeenun |  لولا إذ سمعتموه ظن المؤمنون والمؤمنات بأنفسهم خيرا وقالوا هذا إفك مبينلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًا وَقَالُوا هَذَا إِفْكٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |لولا - Why not,| إذ - when| سمعتموه - you heard it,| ظن - think| المؤمنون - the believing men| والمؤمنات - and the believing women| بأنفسهم - good of themselves| خيرا - good of themselves| وقالوا - and say,| هذا - "This| إفك - (is) a lie| مبين - clear?"| | ||||||
| 2 [25:4] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo in hathailla ifkun iftarahu waaAAanahu AAalayhiqawmun akharoona faqad jaoo thulmanwazooran | وقال الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا إفك افتراه وأعانه عليه قوم آخرون فقد جاءوا ظلما وزورا وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ افْتَرَاهُ وَأَعَانَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ فَقَدْ جَاؤُوا ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| إن - "Not| هذا - this| إلا - (is) but| إفك - a lie,| افتراه - he invented it| وأعانه - and helped him| عليه - at it| قوم - people| آخرون - other."| فقد - But verily,| جاءوا - they (have) produced| ظلما - an injustice| وزورا - and a lie.| | ||||||
| 3 [34:43] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qaloo ma hatha illarajulun yureedu an yasuddakum AAamma kanayaAAbudu abaokum waqaloo ma hathailla ifkun muftaran waqala allatheenakafaroo lilhaqqi lamma jaahum in hathailla sihrun mubeenun | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قالوا ما هذا إلا رجل يريد أن يصدكم عما كان يعبد آباؤكم وقالوا ما هذا إلا إفك مفترى وقال الذين كفروا للحق لما جاءهم إن هذا إلا سحر مبين وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - clear| قالوا - they say,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| رجل - a man| يريد - who wishes| أن - to| يصدكم - hinder you| عما - from what| كان - used| يعبد - (to) worship| آباؤكم - your forefathers."| وقالوا - And they say,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| إفك - a lie| مفترى - invented."| وقال - And said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| للحق - about the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| سحر - a magic| مبين - obvious."| | ||||||
| 4 [46:11] | Waqala allatheena kafaroolillatheena amanoo law kana khayran masabaqoona ilayhi wa-ith lam yahtadoo bihifasayaqooloona hatha ifkun qadeemun | وقال الذين كفروا للذين آمنوا لو كان خيرا ما سبقونا إليه وإذ لم يهتدوا به فسيقولون هذا إفك قديم وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْ كَانَ خَيْرًا مَّا سَبَقُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِذْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوا بِهِ فَسَيَقُولُونَ هَذَا إِفْكٌ قَدِيْمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| للذين - of those who| آمنوا - believe,| لو - "If| كان - it had been| خيرا - good,| ما - not| سبقونا - they (would) have preceded us| إليه - to it."| وإذ - And when| لم - not| يهتدوا - they (are) guided| به - by it,| فسيقولون - they say,| هذا - "This| إفك - (is) a lie| قديم - ancient."| | ||||||
