| 1 [2:228] | Waalmutallaqatuyatarabbasna bi-anfusihinna thalathata quroo-in walayahillu lahunna an yaktumna ma khalaqa Allahufee arhamihinna in kunna yu/minna biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wabuAAoolatuhunna ahaqqubiraddihinna fee thalika in aradoo islahanwalahunna mithlu allathee AAalayhinna bialmaAAroofiwalilrrijali AAalayhinna darajatun waAllahuAAazeezun hakeemun |  والمطلقات يتربصن بأنفسهن ثلاثة قروء ولا يحل لهن أن يكتمن ما خلق الله في أرحامهن إن كن يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر وبعولتهن أحق بردهن في ذلك إن أرادوا إصلاحا ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف وللرجال عليهن درجة والله عزيز حكيموَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُوءٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُواْ إِصْلاَحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكُيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |والمطلقات - And the women who are divorced| يتربصن - shall wait| بأنفسهن - concerning themselves| ثلاثة - (for) three| قروء - monthly periods.| ولا - And (it is) not| يحل - lawful| لهن - for them| أن - that| يكتمن - they conceal| ما - what| خلق - (has been) created| الله - (by) Allah| في - in| أرحامهن - their wombs,| إن - if| كن - they| يؤمن - believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last.| وبعولتهن - And their husbands| أحق - (have) better right| بردهن - to take them back| في - in| ذلك - that (period)| إن - if| أرادوا - they wish| إصلاحا - (for) reconciliation.| ولهن - And for them| مثل - (is the) like| الذي - (of) that which| عليهن - (is) on them| بالمعروف - in a reasonable manner,| وللرجال - and for the men| عليهن - over them| درجة - (is) a degree.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:35] | Wa-in khiftum shiqaqa baynihimafaibAAathoo hakaman min ahlihi wahakaman minahliha in yureeda islahan yuwaffiqiAllahu baynahuma inna Allaha kanaAAaleeman khabeeran | وإن خفتم شقاق بينهما فابعثوا حكما من أهله وحكما من أهلها إن يريدا إصلاحا يوفق الله بينهما إن الله كان عليما خبيرا وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ شِقَاقَ بَيْنِهِمَا فَابْعَثُواْ حَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهِ وَحَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا إِن يُرِيدَا إِصْلاَحًا يُوَفِّقِ اللّهُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| خفتم - you fear| شقاق - a dissension| بينهما - between (the) two of them,| فابعثوا - then send| حكما - an arbitrator| من - from| أهله - his family| وحكما - and an arbitrator| من - from| أهلها - her family.| إن - If| يريدا - they both wish| إصلاحا - reconciliation,| يوفق - will cause reconciliation| الله - Allah| بينهما - between both of them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knower,| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
