| 1 [4:18] | Walaysati alttawbatu lillatheenayaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala inneetubtu al-ana wala allatheena yamootoonawahum kuffarun ola-ika aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman |  وليست التوبة للذين يعملون السيئات حتى إذا حضر أحدهم الموت قال إني تبت الآن ولا الذين يموتون وهم كفار أولئك أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليماوَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وليست - And not| التوبة - (is) the acceptance of repentance| للذين - for those who| يعملون - do| السيئات - the evil deeds| حتى - until| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدهم - one of them| الموت - [the] death,| قال - he says,| إني - "Indeed I| تبت - repent| الآن - now;"| ولا - and not| الذين - those who| يموتون - die| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers.| أولئك - Those -| أعتدنا - We have prepared| لهم - for them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 2 [17:10] | Waanna allatheena layu/minoona bial-akhirati aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman | وأن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليما وأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وأن - And that| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter,| أعتدنا - We have prepared| لهم - for them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:29] | Waquli alhaqqu min rabbikum faman shaafalyu/min waman shaa falyakfur inna aAAtadnalilththalimeena naran ahatabihim suradiquha wa-in yastagheethoo yughathoobima-in kaalmuhli yashwee alwujooha bi/sa alshsharabuwasaat murtafaqan | وقل الحق من ربكم فمن شاء فليؤمن ومن شاء فليكفر إنا أعتدنا للظالمين نارا أحاط بهم سرادقها وإن يستغيثوا يغاثوا بماء كالمهل يشوي الوجوه بئس الشراب وساءت مرتفقا وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا وَإِن يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوهَ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحق - "The truth| من - (is) from| ربكم - your Lord,| فمن - so whoever| شاء - wills -| فليؤمن - let him believe| ومن - and whoever| شاء - wills -| فليكفر - let him disbelieve."| إنا - Indeed, We| أعتدنا - have prepared| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| نارا - a Fire,| أحاط - will surround| بهم - them| سرادقها - its walls.| وإن - And if| يستغيثوا - they call for relief,| يغاثوا - they will be relieved| بماء - with water| كالمهل - like molten brass,| يشوي - (which) scalds| الوجوه - the faces.| بئس - Wretched| الشراب - (is) the drink,| وساءت - and evil| مرتفقا - (is) the resting place.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:102] | Afahasiba allatheena kafarooan yattakhithoo AAibadee min doonee awliyaainna aAAtadna jahannama lilkafireena nuzulan | أفحسب الذين كفروا أن يتخذوا عبادي من دوني أولياء إنا أعتدنا جهنم للكافرين نزلا أَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَن يَتَّخِذُوا عِبَادِي مِن دُونِي أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نُزُلاً | |||||
| Words | |أفحسب - Do then think| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| أن - that| يتخذوا - they (can) take| عبادي - My servants| من - besides Me| دوني - besides Me| أولياء - (as) protectors?| إنا - Indeed, We -| أعتدنا - We have prepared| جهنم - Hell| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| نزلا - (as) a lodging.| | ||||||
| 5 [48:13] | Waman lam yu/min biAllahiwarasoolihi fa-inna aAAtadna lilkafireenasaAAeeran | ومن لم يؤمن بالله ورسوله فإنا أعتدنا للكافرين سعيرا وَمَن لَّمْ يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَإِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَعِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| لم - (has) not believed| يؤمن - (has) not believed| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| فإنا - then indeed, We| أعتدنا - [We] have prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| سعيرا - a Blazing Fire.| | ||||||
| 6 [76:4] | Inna aAAtadna lilkafireenasalasila waaghlalan wasaAAeeran | إنا أعتدنا للكافرين سلاسل وأغلالا وسعيرا إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلَاسِلَا وَأَغْلَالًا وَسَعِيرًا | |||||
