| 1 [4:62] | Fakayfa itha asabat-hum museebatunbima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoonabiAllahi in aradna illa ihsananwatawfeeqan |  فكيف إذا أصابتهم مصيبة بما قدمت أيديهم ثم جاءوك يحلفون بالله إن أردنا إلا إحسانا وتوفيقافَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآؤُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلاَّ إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - So how| إذا - when| أصابتهم - befalls them| مصيبة - disaster| بما - for what| قدمت - sent forth| أيديهم - their hands| ثم - then| جاءوك - they come to you| يحلفون - swearing| بالله - by Allah,| إن - "Not| أردنا - we intended| إلا - except| إحسانا - good| وتوفيقا - and reconciliation."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:107] | Waallatheena ittakhathoomasjidan diraran wakufran watafreeqan baynaalmu/mineena wa-irsadan liman haraba Allahawarasoolahu min qablu walayahlifunna in aradna illaalhusna waAllahu yashhadu innahum lakathiboona | والذين اتخذوا مسجدا ضرارا وكفرا وتفريقا بين المؤمنين وإرصادا لمن حارب الله ورسوله من قبل وليحلفن إن أردنا إلا الحسنى والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًا بَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلاَّ الْحُسْنَى وَاللّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| اتخذوا - take| مسجدا - a masjid| ضرارا - (for causing) harm| وكفرا - and (for) disbelief,| وتفريقا - and (for) division| بين - among| المؤمنين - the believers,| وإرصادا - and (as) a station| لمن - for whoever| حارب - warred| الله - (against) Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| من - before.| قبل - before.| وليحلفن - And surely they will swear,| إن - "Not| أردنا - we wish| إلا - except| الحسنى - the good."| والله - But Allah| يشهد - bears witness| إنهم - indeed, they| لكاذبون - (are) surely liars.| | ||||||
| 3 [17:16] | Wa-itha aradna an nuhlikaqaryatan amarna mutrafeeha fafasaqoo feehafahaqqa AAalayha alqawlu fadammarnahatadmeeran | وإذا أردنا أن نهلك قرية أمرنا مترفيها ففسقوا فيها فحق عليها القول فدمرناها تدميرا وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أردنا - We intend| أن - that| نهلك - We destroy| قرية - a town,| أمرنا - We order| مترفيها - its wealthy people| ففسقوا - but they defiantly disobey| فيها - therein;| فحق - so (is) proved true| عليها - against it| القول - the word,| فدمرناها - and We destroy it| تدميرا - (with) destruction.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:17] | Law aradna an nattakhithalahwan laittakhathnahu min ladunna inkunna faAAileena | لو أردنا أن نتخذ لهوا لاتخذناه من لدنا إن كنا فاعلين لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا إِن كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| أردنا - We intended| أن - that| نتخذ - We take| لهوا - a pastime,| لاتخذناه - surely We (could have) taken it| من - from| لدنا - Us,| إن - if| كنا - We were| فاعلين - doers.| | ||||||
