| 1 [7:175] | Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa allatheeataynahu ayatina fainsalakhaminha faatbaAAahu alshshaytanu fakanamina alghaweena |  واتل عليهم نبأ الذي آتيناه آياتنا فانسلخ منها فأتبعه الشيطان فكان من الغاوينوَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ الَّذِيَ آتَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا فَانسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واتل - And recite| عليهم - to them| نبأ - (the) story| الذي - (of the) one whom| آتيناه - We gave [him]| آياتنا - Our Verses,| فانسلخ - but he detached| منها - [from] them,| فأتبعه - so followed him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| فكان - and he became| من - of| الغاوين - those gone astray.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:22] | Walamma balagha ashuddahu ataynahuhukman waAAilman wakathalika najzee almuhsineena | ولما بلغ أشده آتيناه حكما وعلما وكذلك نجزي المحسنين وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| بلغ - he reached| أشده - his maturity,| آتيناه - We gave him| حكما - wisdom| وعلما - and knowledge.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We reward| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:65] | Fawajada AAabdan min AAibadinaataynahu rahmatan min AAindinawaAAallamnahu min ladunna AAilman | فوجدا عبدا من عبادنا آتيناه رحمة من عندنا وعلمناه من لدنا علما فَوَجَدَا عَبْدًا مِّنْ عِبَادِنَا آتَيْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِنْ عِندِنَا وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا عِلْمًا | |||||
| Words | |فوجدا - Then they found| عبدا - a servant| من - from| عبادنا - Our servants,| آتيناه - whom We had given| رحمة - mercy| من - from| عندنا - Us,| وعلمناه - and We had taught him| من - from| لدنا - Us| علما - a knowledge.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:74] | Walootan ataynahu hukmanwaAAilman wanajjaynahu mina alqaryati allatee kanattaAAmalu alkhaba-itha innahum kanoo qawma saw-in fasiqeena | ولوطا آتيناه حكما وعلما ونجيناه من القرية التي كانت تعمل الخبائث إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فاسقين وَلُوطًا آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولوطا - And (to) Lut| آتيناه - We gave him| حكما - judgment| وعلما - and knowledge,| ونجيناه - and We saved him| من - from| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| تعمل - doing| الخبائث - wicked deeds.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| قوم - a people| سوء - evil,| فاسقين - defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 5 [28:14] | Walamma balagha ashuddahu waistawaataynahu hukman waAAilman wakathalikanajzee almuhsineena | ولما بلغ أشده واستوى آتيناه حكما وعلما وكذلك نجزي المحسنين وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَاسْتَوَى آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| بلغ - he reached| أشده - his full strength| واستوى - and became mature,| آتيناه - We bestowed upon him| حكما - wisdom| وعلما - and knowledge.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We reward| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
