1 [9:86] | Wa-itha onzilat sooratun an aminoobiAllahi wajahidoo maAAa rasoolihi ista/thanakaoloo alttawli minhum waqaloo tharnanakun maAAa alqaAAideena
| وإذا أنزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَجَاهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُواْ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ |
Words | |وإذا - And when| أنزلت - was revealed| سورة - a Surah| أن - that;| آمنوا - believe| بالله - in Allah| وجاهدوا - and strive| مع - with| رسوله - His Messenger,| استأذنك - ask your permission| أولو - (the) men| الطول - (of) wealth| منهم - among them| وقالوا - and said,| ذرنا - "Leave us,| نكن - (to) be| مع - with| القاعدين - those who sit."| |

| በአላህ እመኑ፡፡ ከመልክተኛውም ጋር ኾናችሁ ታገሉ፤ በማለት ምዕራፍ በተወረደች ጊዜ ከነሱ የሰፊ ሀብት ባለቤቶች የኾኑት (ለመቅረት) ፈቃድ ይጠይቁሃል፡፡ «ከተቀማጮቹ ጋርም እንኹን ተወን» ይሉሃል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وإذا أُنزلت سورة } أي طائفة من القرآن { أن } أي بأن { آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولوا الطَّوْل } ذوو الغنى { منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين } . |
| Ma ters ed tsuôep: "amnet s Öebbi, jahdet akked Umazan iS", imeôkantiyen nnsen a k ssutren tsriê, ad inin: "anef ane$ ar wid iqqimen". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন নাযিল হয় কোন সূরা যে, তোমরা ঈমান আন আল্লাহর উপর, তাঁর রসূলের সাথে একাত্ন হয়ে; তখন বিদায় কামনা করে তাদের সামর্থøবান লোকেরা এবং বলে আমাদের অব্যাহতি দিন, যাতে আমরা (নিস্ক্রিয়ভাবে) বসে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থেকে যেতে পারি। |
Literal | And if a chapter was descended: "That believe by God, and struggle/do your utmost with His messenger." Those of the wealth/arrogance asked for permission/pardon from you, and they said: "Leave us be with the sitting/remaining." |
Yusuf Ali | When a Sura comes down, enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive and fight along with His Messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask thee for exemption, and say: "Leave us (behind): we would be with those who sit (at home)." |
