[9:74] | Yahlifoona biAllahi maqaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroobaAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloowama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahuwarasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahumwa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathabanaleeman fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin
|  يحلفون بالله ما قالوا ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم وهموا بما لم ينالوا وما نقموا إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم وإن يتولوا يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم في الأرض من ولي ولا نصير
يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدْ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُواْ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ إِلاَّ أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ |
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| ما - (that) they said nothing,| قالوا - (that) they said nothing,| ولقد - while certainly| قالوا - they said| كلمة - (the) word| الكفر - (of) the disbelief| وكفروا - and disbelieved| بعد - after| إسلامهم - their (pretense of) Islam,| وهموا - and planned| بما - [of] what| لم - not| ينالوا - they could attain.| وما - And not| نقموا - they were resentful| إلا - except| أن - that| أغناهم - Allah had enriched them| الله - Allah had enriched them| ورسوله - and His Messenger| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| فإن - So if| يتوبوا - they repent,| يك - it is| خيرا - better| لهم - for them,| وإن - and if| يتولوا - they turn away,| يعذبهم - Allah will punish them| الله - Allah will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - a helper.| |

| ምንም ያላሉ ለመኾናቸው በአላህ ይምላሉ፡፡ የክህደትንም ቃል በእርግጥ አሉ፡፡ ከእስልምናቸውም በኋላ ካዱ፡፡ ያላገኙትንም ነገር አሰቡ፡፡ አላህም ከችሮታው መልክተኛውም (እንደዚሁ) ያከበራቸው መኾኑን እንጂ ሌላን አልጠሉም፡፡ ቢጸጸቱም ለእነሱ የተሻለ ይኾናል፡፡ ቢሸሹም አላህ በቅርቢቱና በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም አሳማሚን ቅጣት ይቀጣቸዋል፡፡ ለእነሱም በምድር ውስጥ ምንም ወዳጅና ረዳት የላቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يحلفون } أي المنافقون { بالله ما قالوا } ما بلغك عنهم من السب { ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم } أظهروا الكفر بعد إظهار الإسلام { وهمَّوا بما لم ينالوا } من الفتك بالنبي ليلة العقبة عند عوده من تبوك وهم بضعة عشر رجلا فضرب عمار بن ياسر وجوه الرواحل لما غشوه فردوا { وما نقموا } أنكروا { إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله } بالغنائم بعد شدة حاجتهم المعنى: لم ينلهم منه إلا هذا وليس مما ينقم { فإن يتوبوا } عن النفاق ويؤمنوا بك { يكُ خيرا لهم وإن يتولوْا } عن الإيمان { يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا } بالقتل { والآخرة } بالنار { ومالهم في الأرض من ولي } يحفظهم منه { ولا نصير } يمنعهم . |
| Ggulen s Öebbi ur d nnin, wanag nnan awal n tijehli. Jehlen deffir wannuz nnsen. Vemâen ayen iwumi ur wâan. Ur êzinen imi iten I$at, si lfevl iS, Öebbi akked Umazan iS. Ma steôoâen, yif it i nitni. Ma wexxôen, a ten Iâaqeb Öebbi s leqôeê, di ddunit, di laxeôt. Ur sâun, di tmurt, bab ne$ amâiwen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা কসম খায় যে, আমরা বলিনি, অথচ নিঃসন্দেহে তারা বলেছে কুফরী বাক্য এবং মুসলমান হবার পর অস্বীকৃতিজ্ঞাপনকারী হয়েছে। আর তারা কামনা করেছিল এমন বস্তুর যা তারা প্রাপ্ত হয়নি। আর এসব তারই পরিণতি ছিল যে, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল তাদেরকে সম্পদশালী করে দিয়েছিলেন নিজের অনুগ্রহের মাধ্যমে। বস্তুতঃ এরা যদি তওবা করে নেয়, তবে তাদের জন্য মঙ্গল। আর যদি তা না মানে, তবে তাদের কে আযাব দেবেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা, বেদনাদায়ক আযাব দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। অতএব, বিশ্বচরাচরে তাদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী-সমর্থক নেই। |
| Literal | They swear/take oath by God, (that) they did not say, and (but) they had said the disbelief's word/expression ,and they disbelieved after their Islam/submission/surrender, and they got interested/resolved with what they did not take/receive/obtain, and they did not revenge/criticize except that God and His messenger enriched them from His grace , so if they repent (it will) be best for them, and if they turn away, God tortures them a painful torture in the present world and the end (other life), and in the earth/Planet Earth no guardian/ally and nor victorior/savior (be) for them . |
| Yusuf Ali | They swear by Allah that they said nothing (evil), but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they did it after accepting Islam; and they meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out: this revenge of theirs was (their) only return for the bounty with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them; but if they turn back (to their evil ways), Allah will punish them with a grievous penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: They shall have none on earth to protect or help them. |

| Shakir | They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam, and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Messenger enriched them out of His grace; therefore if they repent, it will be good for them; and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper. |
| Sarwar | They (the hypocrites) swear by the Name of God (to make others believe in what they are saying). They have spoken the testimony of disbelief and have then turned back to disbelief. They have made unsuccessful attempts to cause trouble. There is no other reason for their ungratefulness except that God and His Messenger enriched them through their favors. If they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away (from the faith), God will make them suffer a painful punishment both in this life and in the life hereafter. They will find no guardian nor any helper in the land. |
| H/K/Saheeh | They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper. |
| Malik | They swear by Allah that they said nothing when in fact they uttered the words of unbelief and they committed Kufr after accepting Islam. They meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out. They had no reason to be revengeful, except that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them through His bounty. Therefore, if they repent it will indeed be better for them; but if they turn back (do not repent) Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this life and in the Hereafter, and they shall have none on earth to protect or help them.[74] |

| QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | (The hypocrites) swear by Allah that they have said nothing wrong. Yet they most certainly have uttered a word of disbelief (9:61-62). And have denied the Truth after professing their surrender to Allah. They were aiming at something beyond their reach (attaining inner peace without sincerity to the Divine Guidance). And they could find no fault in the Divine System except that Allah has enriched them and caused His Messenger to enrich them out of His Bounty. Hence, it will be good for them if they repent and correct themselves. But if they still turn away, Allah will cause them to suffer grievous retribution in this world and in the life to come. And they will have no protector or helper in the earth. |
