| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:56] | Wayahlifoona biAllahiinnahum laminkum wama hum minkum walakinnahumqawmun yafraqoona
|  ويحلفون بالله إنهم لمنكم وما هم منكم ولكنهم قوم يفرقون
وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَـكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَفْرَقُونَ |
| Words | |ويحلفون - And they swear| بالله - by Allah| إنهم - indeed, they| لمنكم - surely (are) of you,| وما - while not| هم - they| منكم - (are) of you,| ولكنهم - but they| قوم - (are) a people| يفرقون - (who) are afraid.| |

| እነሱም በእርግጥ ከእናንተ ለመኾናቸው በአላህ ይምላሉ፡፡ እነርሱም ከናንተ አይደሉም፡፡ ግን እነሱ (አጋሪዎችን ያገኘ እንዳያገኛቸው) የሚፈሩ ሕዝቦች ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ويحلفون بالله إنهم لمنكم } أي مؤمنون { وما هم منكم ولكنهم قوم يفرقون } يخافون أن تفعلوا بهم كالمشركين فيحلفون تقية . |
| Ad ggalen s Öebbi, ar nitni, war ccekk, segwen. Ur nitni segwen, maca d agdud iugaden. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আল্লাহর নামে হলফ করে বলে যে, তারা তোমাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত, অথচ তারা তোমাদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত নয়, অবশ্য তারা তোমাদের ভয় করে। |
| Literal | And they swear/take oath by God, that they truly are from you (E), and they are not from you, and however they are a nation afraid/separating. |
| Yusuf Ali | They swear by Allah that they are indeed of you; but they are not of you: yet they are afraid (to appear in their true colours). |
