| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:4] | Illa allatheena AAahadtummina almushrikeena thumma lam yanqusookum shay-an walam yuthahirooAAalaykum ahadan faatimmoo ilayhim AAahdahum ilamuddatihim inna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena
|  إلا الذين عاهدتم من المشركين ثم لم ينقصوكم شيئا ولم يظاهروا عليكم أحدا فأتموا إليهم عهدهم إلى مدتهم إن الله يحب المتقين
إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّم مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّواْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ |
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those (with) whom| عاهدتم - you have a covenant| من - among| المشركين - the polytheists,| ثم - then| لم - not| ينقصوكم - they have failed you| شيئا - (in any) thing| ولم - and not| يظاهروا - they have supported| عليكم - against you| أحدا - anyone,| فأتموا - so fulfil| إليهم - to them| عهدهم - their treaty| إلى - till| مدتهم - their term.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المتقين - the righteous.| |

| ከአጋሪዎቹ እነዚያ ቃል ኪዳን የተጋባችኋቸውና ከዚያም ምንም ያላጎደሉባችሁ በናንተ ላይም አንድንም ያልረዱባችሁ ሲቀሩ፤ (እነዚህን) ቃል ኪዳናቸውን እስከጊዜያታቸው (መጨረሻ) ሙሉላቸው፡፡ አላህ ጥንቁቆችን ይወዳልና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إلا الذين عاهدتم من المشركين ثم لم ينقصوكم شيئا } من شروط العهد { ولم يظاهروا } يعاونوا { عليكم أحدا } من الكفار { فأتموا إليهم عهدهم إلى } انقضاء { مدتهم } التي عاهدتم عليها { إن الله يحب المتقين } بإتمام العهود . |
| Kkes ed wid ukud tâaqqdem seg imcurak, sinna ur kwen bbwiven s wacemma, ur ullen yiwen mgal nnwen. Ïîfet di lemâahda nnsen ar lmudda s. Öebbi, s tidep, Iêemmel wid ipêezziben. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তবে যে মুশরিকদের সাথে তোমরা চুক্তি বদ্ধ, অতপরঃ যারা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে কোন ত্রুটি করেনি এবং তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে কাউকে সাহায্যও করেনি, তাদের সাথে কৃত চুক্তিকে তাদের দেয়া মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত পূরণ কর। অবশ্যই আল্লাহ সাবধানীদের পছন্দ করেন। |
| Literal | Except those who you promised/made a contract (with) them, from the sharers/takers of partners (with God), then they did not reduce/decrease you (in) a thing, and they did not cooperate/support/help anyone on (against) you, so complete to them their promise/contract to their period/term , that God loves/likes the fearing and obeying. |
| Yusuf Ali | (But the treaties are) not dissolved with those Pagans with whom ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided any one against you. So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term: for Allah loveth the righteous. |
| Pickthal | Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfil their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him). |
