| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:115] | Wama kana Allahu liyudillaqawman baAAda ith hadahum hattayubayyina lahum ma yattaqoona inna Allaha bikullishay-in AAaleemun
|  وما كان الله ليضل قوما بعد إذ هداهم حتى يبين لهم ما يتقون إن الله بكل شيء عليم
وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ إِنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ |
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| الله - (for) Allah| ليضل - that He lets go astray| قوما - a people| بعد - after| إذ - [when]| هداهم - He has guided them| حتى - until| يبين - He makes clear| لهم - to them| ما - what| يتقون - they should fear.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| بكل - (of) every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| |

| አላህም ሕዝቦችን ከአቀናቸው በኋላ የሚጠነቀቁትን (ሥራ) ለእነሱ እስከሚገልጸላቸው (እስከሚተውትም) ድረስ ጥፋተኛ የሚያደርግ አይደለም፡፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما كان الله ليضل قوما بعد إذ هداهم } للإسلام { حتى يبين لهم ما يتقون } من العمل فلا يتقوه فيستحقوا الإضلال { إن الله بكل شيء عليم } ومنه مستحق الإضلال والهداية . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আল্লাহ কোন জাতিকে হেদায়েত করার পর পথভ্রষ্ট করেন না যতক্ষণ না তাদের জন্য পরিষ্কারভাবে বলে দেন সেসব বিষয় যা থেকে তাদের বেঁচে থাকা দরকার। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে ওয়াকেফহাল। |
| Literal | And God was not to misguide (a) nation after when He guided them, until He clarifies/explains to them what they fear and obey, that God was/is with every thing knowledgeable. |
| Yusuf Ali | And Allah will not mislead a people after He hath guided them, in order that He may make clear to them what to fear (and avoid)- for Allah hath knowledge of all things. |
