| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[89:23] | Wajee-a yawma-ithin bijahannamayawma-ithin yatathakkaru al-insanu waannalahu alththikra
|  وجيء يومئذ بجهنم يومئذ يتذكر الإنسان وأنى له الذكرى
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى |
| Words | |وجيء - And is brought,| يومئذ - that Day,| بجهنم - Hell.| يومئذ - That Day| يتذكر - will remember| الإنسان - man,| وأنى - but how| له - (will be) for him| الذكرى - the remembrance?| |

| ገሀነምም በዚያ ቀን በተመጣች ጊዜ በዚያ ቀን ሰው (ጥፋቱን) ይገነዘባል፡፡ መገንዘብም ለእርሱ ከየቱ? |
| آل الجلالين | { وجيء يومئذ بجهنم } تقاد بسبعين ألف زمام كل زمام بأيدي سبعين ألف ملك لها زفير وتغيظ { يومئذ } بدل من إذا وجوابها { يتذكر الإنسان } أي الكافر ما فرط فيه { وأنَّي له الذكرى } استفهام بمعنى النفي، أي لا ينفعه تذكره ذلك. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং সেদিন জাহান্নামকে আনা হবে, সেদিন মানুষ স্মরণ করবে, কিন্তু এই স্মরণ তার কি কাজে আসবে? |
| Literal | And came (on) that day with Hell ; that day the human/mankind remembers/mentions , and from where (is) for him the remembrance/reminder? |
| Yusuf Ali | And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him? |
