بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [89:16] | Waamma itha ma ibtalahufaqadara AAalayhi rizqahu fayaqoolu rabbee ahanani
| وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدر عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ |
Words | |وأما - But| إذا - when| ما - does| ابتلاه - He try him| فقدر - and restricts| عليه - for him| رزقه - his provision,| فيقول - then he says| ربي - "My Lord| أهانن - (has) humiliated me."| |

| በሞከረውና በእርሱ ላይ ሲሳዩን ባጠበበ ጊዜማ «ጌታዬ አሳነሰኝ» ይላል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدره } ضيق { عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن } . |
| Wanag, ma Ijeôôeb it, I$at it kan s lmizan, ad yini: "d Mass iw iyi Igelzen". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং যখন তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর রিযিক সংকুচিত করে দেন, তখন বলেঃ আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে হেয় করেছেন। |
Literal | And but when as long as He tested him, so He tightened/strained on him His/his provision, so he says: "My Lord humiliated/disgraced/degraded me." |
Yusuf Ali | But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me!" |
Pickthal | But whenever He trieth him by straitening his means of life, he saith: My Lord despiseth me. |
Arberry | But when he tries him and stints for him his provision, then he says, 'My Lord has despised me.' |
Shakir | But when He tries him (differently), then straitens to him his means of subsistence, he says: My Lord has disgraced me. |
Sarwar | However, when his Lord tests him by a measured amount of sustenance , he says, "God has disgraced me". |
