| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:7] | Wa-ith yaAAidukumu Allahu ihdaaltta-ifatayni annaha lakum watawaddoonaanna ghayra thati alshshawkati takoonu lakumwayureedu Allahu an yuhiqqa alhaqqa bikalimatihiwayaqtaAAa dabira alkafireena
|  وإذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين أنها لكم وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم ويريد الله أن يحق الحق بكلماته ويقطع دابر الكافرين
وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يعدكم - promised you| الله - Allah| إحدى - one| الطائفتين - (of) the two groups -| أنها - that it (would be)| لكم - for you -| وتودون - and you wished| أن - that| غير - (one) other than| ذات - that| الشوكة - (of) the armed| تكون - would be| لكم - for you.| ويريد - But intended| الله - Allah| أن - to| يحق - justify| الحق - the truth| بكلماته - by His words,| ويقطع - and cut off| دابر - (the) roots| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers| |

| አላህም ከሁለቱ ጭፍሮች አንደኛዋን እርሷ ለናንተ ናት ሲል ተስፋ በሰጣችሁ ጊዜ፣ የሀይል ባለቤት ያልኾነችውም (ነጋዴይቱ) ለናንተ ልትኾን በወደዳችሁ ጊዜ፣ አላህም በተስፋ ቃላቱ እውነትን ማረጋገጡን ሊገልጽና የከሓዲዎችንም መጨረሻ ሊቆርጥ በሻ ጊዜ (የኾነውን አስታውስ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } اذكر { إذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين } العير أو النفير { أنها لكم وتودُّون } تريدون { أن غير ذات الشوكة } أي البأس والسلاح وهي العير { تكون لكم } لقلة عددها ومدَدها بخلاف النفير { ويريد الله أن يُحق الحق } يظهر { بكلماته } السابقة بظهور الإسلام { ويقطع دابر الكافرين } آخرهم بالاستئصال فأمركم بقتال النفير . |
| Mi wen Iâahed Öebbi, ara ppili nnwen, yiwet si snat n trebbuyaâ, tessarmem a ppili nnwen tin ur nepwaselleê. Öebbi Ib$a a d itebbet tidep s wawalen iS, ad ôéen wakali ijehliyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন আল্লাহ দু’টি দলের একটির ব্যাপারে তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছিলেন যে, সেটি তোমাদের হস্তগত হবে, আর তোমরা কামনা করছিলে যাতে কোন রকম কন্টক নেই, তাই তোমাদের ভাগে আসুক; অথচ আল্লাহ চাইতেন সত্যকে স্বীয় কালামের মাধ্যমে সত্যে পরিণত করতে এবং কাফেরদের মূল কর্তন করে দিতে, |
| Literal | And if/when God promises you one/any (of) the two groups that it (E) (is) for you, and you wish/love that other than that what is the power and might/weapon's sharpness be for you, and God wants/wills that (He) makes correct the truth with His words/expressions and cuts off/severs the disbelievers' root/remainder. |
| Yusuf Ali | Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;- |
