| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:32] | Wa-ith qaloo allahummain kana hatha huwa alhaqqa min AAindika faamtirAAalayna hijaratan mina alssama-iawi i/tina biAAathabin aleemin
|  وإذ قالوا اللهم إن كان هذا هو الحق من عندك فأمطر علينا حجارة من السماء أو ائتنا بعذاب أليم
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَـذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ أَوِ ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالوا - they said,| اللهم - "O Allah!| إن - If| كان - was| هذا - this| هو - [it]| الحق - the truth| من - [of]| عندك - from You| فأمطر - then (send) rain| علينا - upon us| حجارة - (of) stones| من - from| السماء - the sky| أو - or| ائتنا - bring (upon) us| بعذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful."| |

| «ጌታችን ሆይ! ይህ እርሱ ካንተ ዘንድ (የተወረደ) እውነት እንደ ኾነ በኛ ላይ ከሰማይ ድንጋዮችን አዝንብብን ወይም አሳማሚ ቅጣትን አምጣብን» ባሉም ጊዜ (አስታውስ) |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذ قالوا اللهم إن كان هذا } الذي يقرؤه محمد { هو الحقَّ } المنزل { من عندك فأمطر علينا حجارة من السماء أو ائتنا بعذاب أليم } مؤلم على إنكاره قاله النصر ، وغيره استهزاءً وإيهاما أنه على بصيرة وجزم ببطلانه . |
| Mi nnan: "a Öebbi, ma illa wagi d tidep s$uôeK, Sse$li d, fella$, id$a$en seg igenni, ne$ Awi a$ d aâaqeb aqeôêan". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাছাড়া তারা যখন বলতে আরম্ভ করে যে, ইয়া আল্লাহ, এই যদি তোমার পক্ষ থেকে (আগত) সত্য দ্বীন হয়ে থাকে, তবে আমাদের উপর আকাশ থেকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণ কর কিংবা আমাদের উপর বেদনাদায়ক আযাব নাযিল কর। |
| Literal | And when they said: "Oh God if that was it, the truth from at you, so rain on us stones from the sky/space or come/bring to us with a painful torture." |
