| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:25] | Waittaqoo fitnatan la tuseebannaallatheena thalamoo minkum khassatanwaiAAlamoo anna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi
|  واتقوا فتنة لا تصيبن الذين ظلموا منكم خاصة واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب
وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً لاَّ تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ |
| Words | |واتقوا - And fear| فتنة - a trial| لا - not| تصيبن - which will afflict| الذين - those who| ظلموا - do wrong| منكم - among you| خاصة - exclusively.| واعلموا - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty.| |

| ከናንተም ውስጥ እነዚያን የበደሉትን ብቻ ለይታ የማትነካን ፈተና ተጠንቀቁ፡፡ አላህም ቅጣቱ ብርቱ መኾኑን እወቁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { واتقوا فتنة } إن أصابتكم { لا تصيبنَّ الذين ظلموا منكم خاصة } بل تعمهم وغيرهم واتقاؤها بإنكار موجبها من المنكر { واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب } لمن خالفه . |
| Ëezzbet i uhewwel. Ur ipêaz ara kan imednas segwen, weêêedsen. Cfut ar Öebbi Iqseê deg uâaqeb. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তোমরা এমন ফাসাদ থেকে বেঁচে থাক যা বিশেষতঃ শুধু তাদের উপর পতিত হবে না যারা তোমাদের মধ্যে জালেম এবং জেনে রেখ যে, আল্লাহর আযাব অত্যন্ত কঠোর। |
| Literal | And fear (and avoid a) test/torture (that) strikes/hits (E) especially/specifically those who caused injustice/oppression from you, and know that God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment. |
| Yusuf Ali | And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment. |
