| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[77:48] | Wa-itha qeela lahumu irkaAAoo layarkaAAoona
|  وإذا قيل لهم اركعوا لا يركعون
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| اركعوا - "Bow,"| لا - not| يركعون - they bow.| |

| «ለእነርሱ ስገዱም» በተባሉ ጊዜ አይሰግዱም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا قيل لهم اركعوا } صلوا { لا يركعون } لا يصلون. |
| Ma nnan asen: "îîinzet"! Ur îîinizen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, নত হও, তখন তারা নত হয় না। |
| Literal | And when/if (it) was said to them: "Bow ." They do not bow . |
| Yusuf Ali | And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so. |
| Pickthal | When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down! |
