| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[74:24] | Faqala in hatha illa sihrunyu/tharu
|  فقال إن هذا إلا سحر يؤثر
فَقَالَ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ |
| Words | |فقال - Then he said,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| سحر - magic| يؤثر - imitated.| |

| አለም «ይህ (ከሌላ) የሚቀዳ ድግምት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فقال } فيما جاء به { إن } ما { هذا إلا سحر يؤثر } ينقل عن السحرة. |
| D$a inna: "wagi d ssêur kan ippulemden. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এরপর বলেছেঃ এতো লোক পরস্পরায় প্রাপ্ত জাদু বৈ নয়, |
| Literal | So he said: "That truly that (is) except magic/sorcery to be traced (followed/copied) ." |
| Yusuf Ali | Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; |
| Pickthal | And said: This is naught else than magic from of old; |
| Arberry | He said, 'This is naught but a trumped-up sorcery; |
