|  إن ربك يعلم أنك تقوم أدنى من ثلثي الليل ونصفه وثلثه وطائفة من الذين معك والله يقدر الليل والنهار علم أن لن تحصوه فتاب عليكم فاقرءوا ما تيسر من القرآن علم أن سيكون منكم مرضى وآخرون يضربون في الأرض يبتغون من فضل الله وآخرون يقاتلون في سبيل الله فاقرءوا ما تيسر منه وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة وأقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا وما تقدموا لأنفسكم من خير تجدوه عند الله هو خيرا وأعظم أجرا واستغفروا الله إن الله غفور رحيم
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| አንተ ከሌሊቱ ሁለት እጅ ያነሰን ግማሹንም ሲሶውንም የምትቆም መኾንህን ጌታህ በእርግጥ ያውቃል፡፡ ከእነዚያም አብረውህ ካሉት ከፊሎች (የሚቆሙ መኾናቸውን ያውቃል)፡፡ አላህም ሌሊትንና ቀንን ይለክካል፡፡ (ሌሊቱን) የማታዳርሱት መኾናችሁን ዐወቀ፡፡ በእናንተ ላይም (ወደ ማቃለል) ተመለሰላችሁ፡፡ ስለዚህ ከቁርኣን (በስግደት) የተቻላችሁን አንብቡ፡፡ ከእናንተ ውስጥ በሽተኞች፣ ሌሎችም ከአላህ ችሮታ ለመፈለግ በምድር ላይ የሚጓዙ፣ ሌሎችም በአላህ መንገድ (ሃይማኖት) የሚጋደሉ እንደሚኖሩ ዐወቀ፡፡ (አቃለለላቸውም)፡፡ ከእርሱም የተቻለችሁን አንብቡ፡፡ ሶላትንም ስገዱ፡፡ ዘካንም ስጡ፡፡ ለአላህም መልካም ብደርን አበድሩ፡፡ ከመልካም ሥራም ለነፍሶቻችሁ የምታስቀድሙትን ሁሉ እርሱ የተሻለና በምንዳም ታላቅ ኾኖ አላህ ዘንድ ታገኙታላችሁ፡፡ አላህንም ምሕረትን ለምኑት፡፡ አላህ በጣም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن ربك يعلم أنك تقوم أَدنى } أقل { من ثلثي الليل ونصفِه وثلثِه } بالجر عطف على ثلثي وبالنصب على أدنى وقيامه كذلك نحو ما أمر به أول السورة { وطائفة من الذين معك } عطف على ضمير تقوم وجاز من غير تأكيد للفصل وقيام طائفة من أصحابه كذلك للتأسي به ومنهم من كان لا يدري كم صلّى من الليل وكم بقي منه فكان يقوم الليل كله احتياطا فقاموا حتى انتفخت أقدامهم سنة أو أكثر فخفف عنهم قال تعالى: { والله يقدر } يحصي { الليل والنهار علم أن } مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها محذوف، أي أنه { لن تحصوه } أي الليل لتقوموا فيما يجب القيام فيه إلا بقيام جميعه وذلك يشق عليكم { فتاب عليكم } رجع بكم إلى التخفيف { فاقرؤوا ما تيسر من القرآن } في الصلاة بأن تصلوا ما تيسر { علم أن } مخففة من الثقيلة، أي أنه { سيكون منكم مرضى وآخرون يضربون في الأرض } يسافرون { يبتغون من فضل الله } يطلبون من رزقه بالتجارة وغيرها { وآخرون يقاتلون في سبيل الله } وكل من الفرق الثلاثة يشق عليهم ما ذكر في قيام الليل فخفف عنهم بقيام ما تيسر منه ثم نسخ ذلك بالصلوات الخمس { فاقرؤوا ما تيسر منه } كما تقدم { وأقيموا الصلاة } المفروضة { وآتوا الزكاة وأقرضوا الله } بأن تنفقوا ما سوى المفروض من المال في سبيل الخير { قرضا حسنا } عن طيب قلب { وما تقدموا لأنفسكم من خير تجدوه عند الله هو خيرا } مما خلفتم وهو فصل وما بعده وإن لم يكن معرفة يشبهها لامتناعه من التعريف { وأعظم أجرا واستغفروا الله إن الله غفور رحيم } للمؤمنين. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পালনকর্তা জানেন, আপনি এবাদতের জন্যে দন্ডায়মান হন রাত্রির প্রায় দু’তৃতীয়াংশ, অর্ধাংশ ও তৃতীয়াংশ এবং আপনার সঙ্গীদের একটি দলও দন্ডায়মান হয়। আল্লাহ দিবা ও রাত্রি পরিমাপ করেন। তিনি জানেন, তোমরা এর পূর্ণ হিসাব রাখতে পার না। অতএব তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি ক্ষমা পরায়ন হয়েছেন। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ, ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তিনি জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অসুস্থ হবে, কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধানে দেশে-বিদেশে যাবে এবং কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদে লিপ্ত হবে। কাজেই কোরআনের যতটুকু তোমাদের জন্যে সহজ ততটুকু আবৃত্তি কর। তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দাও। তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে যা কিছু অগ্রে পাঠাবে, তা আল্লাহর কাছে উত্তম আকারে এবং পুরস্কার হিসেবে বর্ধিতরূপে পাবে। তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু। |
| Literal | That truly your Lord knows that you, you stand/call (for) prayer nearer (than) from two-thirds (of) the night and its half/middle, and its third, and a group of people from those with you, and God predestines/evaluates the night and the daytime, He knew that you (will) not count/compute it so He forgave on you, so read what eased/became flexible (what you can) from the Koran, He knew that (E) sick/diseased will be from you, and others moving (traveling) in the land/Earth wishing/desiring from God's grace/favour/blessing, and others fighting in God's way/path , so read what eased/became flexible from it (what you can), and keep up the prayers, and give/bring the charity/purification, and lend/advance God a good/ beautifulloan/advance, and what you advance/produce for yourselves from goodness/ generosity you find it at God, it is better and greater (in) a reward , and ask God for forgiveness, that truly God (is) forgiving, merciful.443 |
| Yusuf Ali | Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. So recite of it that which is easy (for you), and establish worship and pay the poor-due, and (so) lend unto Allah a goodly loan. Whatsoever good ye send before you for your souls, ye will find it with Allah, better and greater in the recompense. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |

So recite as much of the Quran as may be easy (for you), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat, and lend to Allah a goodly loan, and whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawafil non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and Umrah, etc.), you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward. And seek Forgiveness of Allah. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful. |

And those who have to fight in the Cause of Allah. Recite and convey the Qur'an, then, at ease. And establish the Divine System and set up the Just Economic Order. And lend unto Allah a goodly loan. Whatever good you send forth for your 'Selves' you will find with Allah, better and more excellent in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Behold, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| Totisesti Herrasi tietää, että sinä valvot miltei kaksi kolmannesta yöstä, joskus puolet siitä tai joskus kolmanneksen, ja että samoin tekee osa seuraajistasi. Jumala mittaa yön ja päivän. Hän tietää, että teidän voimanne ei siihen riitä; siksi Hän kääntyy puoleenne armollisesti. Lukekaa siis Koraania, sitä, mikä siinä on helppotajuista. Hän tietää, että jotkut joukostanne ovat sairaita ja toiset ovat vaelluksella etsien Jumalan armoa, ja vielä on toisia, jotka taistelevat Jumalan tiellä. Lukekaa siis, mitä siinä on helppoa, mutta harrastakaa rukoilemista ja antakaa säädetyt almut sekä Jumalalle mieluisa uhri, sillä kaiken hyvän, minkä teette sielujenne puolesta, te saatte Jumalalta takaisin parempana ja suurempana. Ja pyytäkää Jumalalta anteeksiantoa! Jumala on totisesti anteeksiantava, armollinen. |

Katawan Iyan a di niyo to khaitong, na piyakatawbat kano Niyan na batiyaa niyo so malbod (rkano) ko Qor´an, katawan Iyan a khabaloy so sabaad rkano a pkhakasakit, go so manga pd na pphlalakaw siran ko lopa, a gii siran mbabanog ko kakawasaan o Allah, go so manga pd na gii siran makimbonoay ko lalan ko Allah. Na batiyaa niyo so malbod on, go pamayandgn iyo so sambayang, go tonaya niyo so zakat; go pagotangi niyo so Allah sa otang a mapiya. Na sadn sa mipakawit iyo a rk o manga ginawa niyo a mapiya na khatoon iyo to sii ko Allah, giyoto i lbi a mapiya, go lbi a mala a balas. Na pangni kano sa maap ko Allah. Mataan! a so Allah na Manapi, a Makalimoon. |
| Ahmed Raza Khan | بیشک تمہارا رب جانتا ہے کہ تم قیام کرتے ہو کبھی دو تہائی رات کے قریب، کبھی آدمی رات، کبھی تہائی اور ایک جماعت تمہارے ساتھ والی اور اللہ رات اور دن کا اندازہ فرماتا ہے، اسے معلوم ہے کہ اے مسلمانو! تم سے رات کا شمار نہ ہوسکے گا تو اس نے اپنی مہر سے تم پر رجوع فرمائی اب قرآن میں سے جتنا تم پر آسان ہو اتنا پڑھو اسے معلوم ہے کہ عنقریب کچھ تم میں سے بیمار ہوں گے اور کچھ زمین میں سفر کریں گے اللہ کا فضل تلاش کرنے اور کچھ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہوں گے تو جتنا قرآن میسر ہو پڑھو اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور اللہ کو اچھا قرض دو اور اپنے لیے جو بھلائی آگے بھیجو گے اسے اللہ کے پاس بہتر اور بڑے ثواب کی پاؤ گے، اور اللہ سے بخشش مانگو، بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے، |
| Shabbir Ahmed | یقینا تمہارا رب اے نبی جانتا ہے کہ تم کھڑے ہوتے ہو (عبادت کے لیے) تقریبا دو تہائی رات اور کبھی آدھی رات اور کبھی ایک تہائی اور ایک گروہ بھی ان لوگوں کا جو تمہارے ساتھ ہیں اور اللہ ہی نے اندازے مقرر کیے ہیں رات اور دن کے۔ اسے معلوم ہے کہ تم اس کا صحیح شمار ہرگز نہیں کرسکتے سو اس نے تم پر مہربانی فرمائی۔ لہٰذا پڑھو جتنا آسانی سے پڑھ سکتے ہو قرآن۔ اسے معلوم ہے کہ ہوں گے تم میں سے کچھ مریض اور کچھ لوگ جو سفر کریں گے زمین میں اللہ کے فضل کی تلاش میں اور ہوں گے کچھ لوگ جو جنگ کریں گے اللہ کی راہ میں لہٰذا پڑھو جتنا آسانی سے پڑھ سکو اس میں سے۔ اور قائم کرو نماز اور دو ذکوٰۃ اور قرض دیتے رہو اللہ کو قرضِ حَسَنَہ۔ اور جو کچھ تم آگے بھیجو گے اپنے لیے کسی قسم کی بھلائی کا کام تو پاؤ گے تم اسے موجود اللہ کے پاس اور یہی کام بہتر ہیں اور بہت بڑے ہیں اجر کے لحاظ سے اور اللہ سے مغفرت مانگتے ہو۔ یقینا اللہ ہے بہت زیادہ معاف فرمانے والا۔ نہایت مہربان۔ |
| Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | تمہارا پروردگار خوب جانتا ہے کہ تم اور تمہارے ساتھ کے لوگ (کبھی) دو تہائی رات کے قریب اور (کبھی) آدھی رات اور (کبھی) تہائی رات قیام کیا کرتے ہو۔ اور خدا تو رات اور دن کا اندازہ رکھتا ہے۔ اس نے معلوم کیا کہ تم اس کو نباہ نہ سکو گے تو اس نے تم پر مہربانی کی۔ پس جتنا آسانی سے ہوسکے (اتنا) قرآن پڑھ لیا کرو۔ اس نے جانا کہ تم میں بعض بیمار بھی ہوتے ہیں اور بعض خدا کے فضل (یعنی معاش) کی تلاش میں ملک میں سفر کرتے ہیں اور بعض خدا کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں۔ تو جتنا آسانی سے ہوسکے اتنا پڑھ لیا کرو۔ اور نماز پڑھتے رہو اور زکوٰة ادا کرتے رہو اور خدا کو نیک (اور خلوص نیت سے) قرض دیتے رہو۔ اور جو عمل نیک تم اپنے لئے آگے بھیجو گے اس کو خدا کے ہاں بہتر اور صلے میں بزرگ تر پاؤ گے۔ اور خدا سے بخشش مانگتے رہو۔ بےشک خدا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے |

| Abul Ala Maududi | اے نبیؐ، تمہارا رب جانتا ہے کہ تم کبھی دو تہائی رات کے قریب اور کبھی آدھی رات اور کبھی ایک تہائی رات عبادت میں کھڑے رہتے ہو، اور تمہارے ساتھیوں میں سے بھی ایک گروہ یہ عمل کرتا ہے اللہ ہی رات اور دن کے اوقات کا حساب رکھتا ہے، اُسے معلوم ہے کہ تم لوگ اوقات کا ٹھیک شمار نہیں کر سکتے، لہٰذا اس نے تم پر مہربانی فرمائی، اب جتنا قرآن آسانی سے پڑھ سکتے ہو پڑھ لیا کرو اُسے معلوم ہے کہ تم میں کچھ مریض ہونگے، کچھ دوسرے لوگ اللہ کے فضل کی تلاش میں سفر کرتے ہیں، اور کچھ اور لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہیں پس جتنا قرآن بآسانی پڑھا جا سکے پڑھ لیا کرو، نماز قائم کرو، زکوٰۃ دو اور اللہ کو اچھا قرض دیتے رہو جو کچھ بھلائی تم اپنے لیے آگے بھیجو گے اسے اللہ کے ہاں موجود پاؤ گے، وہی زیادہ بہتر ہے اور اس کا اجر بہت بڑا ہے اللہ سے مغفرت مانگتے رہو، بے شک اللہ بڑا غفور و رحیم ہے |
| Ahmed Ali | بے شک آپ کا رب جانتا ہے کہ آپ اور جو لوگ آپ کے ساتھ ہیں (کبھی) دو تہائی رات کے قریب اور (کبھی) آدھی رات اور (کبھی) تہائی رات سے (نماز تہجد) میں کھڑے ہوتے ہیں اور الله ہی رات اور دن کا اندازہ کرتا ہے اسے معلوم ہے کہ تم اس کو نباہ نہیں سکتے سو اس نے تم پر رحم کیا پس پڑھو جتنا قرآن میں سے آسان ہو اسے علم ہے کہ تم میں سے کچھ بیمار ہوں گے اور کچھ اور لوگ بھی جو الله کا فضل تلاش کرتے ہوئے زمین پر سفر کریں گے اورکچھ اور لوگ ہوں گے جو الله کی راہ میں جہاد کریں گے پس پڑھو جو اس میں سےآسان ہو اور نماز قائم کرو اور زکوةٰ دو اور الله کو اچھی طرح (یعنی اخلاص سے) قرض دو اورجو کچھ نیکی آگے بھیجوگے اپنے واسطے تو اس کو الله کے ہاں بہتر اور بڑے اجر کی چیز پاؤ گے اور الله سے بخشش مانگو بے شک الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے |
