1 [72:3] | Waannahu taAAala jaddu rabbinama ittakhatha sahibatan wala waladan
| وأنه تعالى جد ربنا ما اتخذ صاحبة ولا ولدا وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا |
Words | |وأنه - And that He -| تعالى - Exalted is| جد - (the) Majesty| ربنا - (of) our Lord -| ما - not| اتخذ - He has taken| صاحبة - a wife| ولا - and not| ولدا - a son,| |

| ‹እነሆም የጌታችን ክብር ላቀ፡፡ ሚስትንም ልጅንም አልያዘም፡፡› |
آل الجلالين | { وأنه } الضمير للشأن فيه وفي الموضعين بعده { تعالى جد ربنا } تنزه جلاله وعظمته عما نُسب إليه { ما اتخذ صاحبة } زوجة { ولا ولدا } . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই। |
Literal | 'And that He truly is our Lord, high, mighty exalted and dignified (owner of) majestic greatness, (He) did not take a wife/companion/friend and nor a child/children.' |
Yusuf Ali | 'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. |
