بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [7:96] | Walaw anna ahla alqura amanoowaittaqaw lafatahna AAalayhim barakatinmina alssama-i waal-ardi walakinkaththaboo faakhathnahum bima kanooyaksiboona
| ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَى آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَواْ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَاتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَـكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ |
Words | |ولو - And if| أن - [that]| أهل - people| القرى - (of) the cities| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared Allah| لفتحنا - surely We (would have) opened| عليهم - upon them| بركات - blessings| من - from| السماء - the heaven| والأرض - and the earth| ولكن - but| كذبوا - they denied.| فأخذناهم - So We seized them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يكسبون - earn.| |

| የከተማዋም ሰዎች ባመኑና በተጠነቀቁ ኖሮ በእነሱ ላይ ከሰማይም ከምድርም በረከቶችን በከፈትንላቸው ነበር፡፡ ግን አስተባበሉ፡፡ ይሠሩት በነበሩትም ኃጢኣት ያዝናቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولو أنَّ أهل القرى } المكذَّبين { آمنوا } بالله ورسلهم { واتقوا } الكفر والمعاصي { لفتحنا } بالتخفيف والتشديد { عليهم بركات من السماء } بالمطر { والأرض } بالنبات { ولكن كذَّبوا } الرسل { فأخذناهم } عاقبناهم { بما كانوا يكسبون } . |
| Lemmer kan uminen u êezzben imezda$ n temdinin, war ccekk, ad asen Nelli lbaôakat seg igenni akked tmurt. Maca, skaddben. Nessemêalleq asen, ilmend n wayen keppben. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যদি সে জনপদের অধিবাসীরা ঈমান আনত এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের প্রতি আসমানী ও পার্থিব নেয়ামত সমূহ উম্মুক্ত করে দিতাম। কিন্তু তারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। সুতরাং আমি তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি তাদের কৃতকর্মের বদলাতে। |
Literal | And if that the villages'/urban cities' peoples believed and feared and obeyed, We would have opened/eased on them blessings from the sky/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and but they denied/falsified , so We took/punished them because (of)what they were acquiring/gathering . |
Yusuf Ali | If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds. |
Pickthal | And if the people of the townships had believed and kept from evil, surely We should have opened for them blessings from the sky and from the earth. But (unto every messenger) they gave the lie, and so We seized them on account of what they used to earn. |
