| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:28] | Wa-itha faAAaloo fahishatan qaloowajadna AAalayha abaana waAllahuamarana biha qul inna Allaha laya/muru bialfahsha-i ataqooloona AAalaAllahi ma la taAAlamoona
|  وإذا فعلوا فاحشة قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا والله أمرنا بها قل إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون
وَإِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً قَالُواْ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| فعلوا - they do| فاحشة - immorality| قالوا - they say,| وجدنا - "We found| عليها - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers| والله - and Allah| أمرنا - (has) ordered us| بها - of it."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يأمر - order| بالفحشاء - immorality.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| |

| መጥፎንም ሥራ በሠሩ ጊዜ በእርሷ ላይ አባቶቻችንን አገኘን አላህም በእርሷ አዞናል ይላሉ፡፡ «አላህ በመጥፎ ነገር አያዝም፡፡ በአላህ ላይ የማታውቁትን ትናገራላችሁን» በላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا فعلوا فاحشة } كالشرك وطوافهم بالبيت عراة قائلين لا نطوف في ثياب عصينا الله فيها فنهوا عنها { قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا } فاقتدينا بهم { والله أمرنا بها } أيضا { قل } لهم { إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون } أنه قاله، استفهام إنكار . |
| Mi xedmen ayen n dir, ad inin: "nufa d akka ar imezwura nne$, u Öebbi Iumeô a$ d $uôes. Ini: "Öebbi, s tidep, ur Ippameô ar wayen n dir. Day a d tinim $ef Öebbi, ayen ur tessinem"? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা যখন কোন মন্দ কাজ করে, তখন বলে আমরা বাপ-দাদাকে এমনি করতে দেখেছি এবং আল্লাহও আমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশই দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ মন্দকাজের আদেশ দেন না। এমন কথা আল্লাহর প্রতি কেন আরোপ কর, যা তোমরা জান না। |
| Literal | And if they made/did an enormous/atrocious deed , they said: "We found our fathers on it, and God ordered/commanded us with it." Say: "That God does not order/command with the enormous/atrocious deeds , do you say on (about) God what you do not know?" |
| Yusuf Ali | When they do aught that is shameful, they say: "We found our fathers doing so"; and "Allah commanded us thus": Say: "Nay, Allah never commands what is shameful: do ye say of Allah what ye know not?" |
