| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:168] | WaqattaAAnahum fee al-ardiomaman minhumu alssalihoona waminhum doona thalikawabalawnahum bialhasanati waalssayyi-atilaAAallahum yarjiAAoona
|  وقطعناهم في الأرض أمما منهم الصالحون ومنهم دون ذلك وبلوناهم بالحسنات والسيئات لعلهم يرجعون
وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أُمَمًا مِّنْهُمُ الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَبَلَوْنَاهُمْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |
| Words | |وقطعناهم - And We divided them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أمما - (as) nations.| منهم - Among them| الصالحون - (are) the righteous| ومنهم - and among them| دون - (are) other than| ذلك - that.| وبلوناهم - And We tested them| بالحسنات - with the good| والسيئات - and the bad,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return.| |

| (የእስራኤልን ልጆች) በምድር ላይ የተለያዩ ሕዝቦች አድርገንም ከፋፈልናቸው፡፡ ከእነሱ መልካሞች አሉ፡፡ ከእነሱም ከዚያ ሌላ አልሉ፡፡ ይመለሱ ዘንድም በተድላዎችም በመከራዎችም ሞከርናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقطَّعناهم } فرَّقناهم { في الأرض أُمما } فرقا { منهم الصالحون ومنهم } ناس { دون ذلك } الكفار والفاسقون { وبلوناهم بالحسنات } بالنعم { والسيئات } النقم { لعلهم يرجعون } عن فسقهم. |
| Nessemfaôaq iten di tmurt, d leoyus, garasen wid imaânen, garasen wid ur nemâin. Njeôôeb iten s ise$iyen akked tucmitin, amar a d u$alen s abrid. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আমি তাদেরকে বিভক্ত করে দিয়েছি দেশময় বিভিন্ন শ্রেনীতে, তাদের মধ্যে কিছু রয়েছে ভাল আর কিছু রয়েছে অন্য রকম! তাছাড়া আমি তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি ভাল ও মন্দের মাধ্যমে যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে। |
| Literal | And We separated/divided them in the earth/Planet Earth (into) nations, from them the correct/righteous people, and from them other than that, and We tested them with the goodnesses and the sins/crimes, maybe/perhaps they return. |
| Yusuf Ali | We broke them up into sections on this earth. There are among them some that are the righteous, and some that are the opposite. We have tried them with both prosperity and adversity: In order that they might turn (to us). |
