| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:161] | Wa-ith qeela lahumu oskunoo hathihialqaryata wakuloo minha haythu shi/tum waqooloo hittatunwaodkhuloo albaba sujjadan naghfir lakum khatee-atikumsanazeedu almuhsineena
|  وإذ قيل لهم اسكنوا هذه القرية وكلوا منها حيث شئتم وقولوا حطة وادخلوا الباب سجدا نغفر لكم خطيئاتكم سنزيد المحسنين
وَإِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْكُنُواْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ وَادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطِيئَاتِكُمْ سَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قيل - it was said| لهم - to them,| اسكنوا - "Live| هذه - (in) this| القرية - city| وكلوا - and eat| منها - from it| حيث - wherever| شئتم - you wish| وقولوا - and say,| حطة - "Repentance,"| وادخلوا - and enter| الباب - the gate| سجدا - prostrating,| نغفر - We will forgive| لكم - for you| خطيئاتكم - your sins.| سنزيد - We will increase (reward)| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers."| |

| ለእነርሱም በተባሉ ጊዜ (አስታውስ) «በዚህች ከተማ ተቀመጡ፡፡ ከእርሷም በሻችሁት ስፍራ ብሉ፡፡ (የምንፈልገው) የኃጢኣታችንን መርገፍ ነው በሉም፡፡ የከተማይቱንም በር አጎንብሳችሁ ግቡ፡፡ ኃጢኣቶቻችሁን ለእናንተ እንምራለንና፡፡ በጎ ለሠሩት በእርግጥ እንጨምራለን፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { و } اذكر { إذ قيل لهم اسكنوا هذه القرية } بيت المقدس { وكلوا منها حيث شئتم وقولوا } أمرنا { حطَّةٌ وادخلوا الباب } أي باب القرية { سجَّدا } سجود انحناء { نغفر } بالنون والتاء مبينا للمفعول { لكم خطيئاتكم سنزيد المحسنين } بالطاعة ثوابا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন তাদের প্রতি নির্দেশ হল যে, তোমরা এ নগরীতে বসবাস কর এবং খাও তা থেকে যেখান থেকে ইচ্ছা এবং বল, আমাদের ক্ষমা করুন। আর দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর প্রণত অবস্থায়। তবে আমি ক্ষমা করে দেব তোমাদের পাপসমুহ। অবশ্য আমি সৎকর্মীদিগকে অতিরিক্ত দান করব। |
| Literal | And if (it) was said to them: "Reside/inhabit this the village/urban city, and eat from it where/when you willed/wanted, and say humility/humbleness , and enter the door/entrance prostrating, We forgive for you your sins/mistakes , We will increase the good doers." |
