| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[69:25] | Waamma man ootiya kitabahubishimalihi fayaqoolu ya laytanee lam oota kitabiyah
|  وأما من أوتي كتابه بشماله فيقول يا ليتني لم أوت كتابيه
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ |
| Words | |وأما - But as for| من - (him) who| أوتي - is given| كتابه - his record| بشماله - in his left hand| فيقول - will say,| يا - O| ليتني - "O! I wish| لم - not| أوت - I had been given| كتابيه - my record| |

| መጽሐፉንም በግራው የተሰጠማ «ዋ ጥፋቴ! ምነው መጽሐፌን ባልተሰጠሁ» ይላል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وأما من أوتيَ كتابه بشماله فيقول يا } للتنبيه { ليتني لم أوت كتابيه } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যার আমলনামা তার বাম হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ হায় আমায় যদি আমার আমল নামা না দেয়া হতো। |
| Literal | And but who was given/brought his Book/judgment with his left (hand), so he says: "I wish I would have not been given my book/judgment ." |
| Yusuf Ali | And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me! |
| Pickthal | But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book |
