بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [69:10] | FaAAasaw rasoola rabbihim faakhathahumakhthatan rabiyatan
| فعصوا رسول ربهم فأخذهم أخذة رابية فَعَصَوْا رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً |
Words | |فعصوا - And they disobeyed| رسول - (the) Messenger| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| فأخذهم - so He seized them| أخذة - (with) a seizure| رابية - exceeding.| |

| የጌታቸውንም መልእክተኛ ትዕዛዝ ጣሱ፡፡ የበረታችንም አያያዝ ያዛቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فعصوْا رسول ربهم } أي لوطا وغيره { فأخذهم أخذة رابية } زائدة في الشدة على غيرها. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার রসূলকে অমান্য করেছিল। ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে কঠোরহস্তে পাকড়াও করলেন। |
Literal | So they disobeyed their Lord's messenger, so He punished them an increased spellbinding (devastating) punishment . |
Yusuf Ali | And disobeyed (each) the messenger of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty. |
