| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[66:7] | Ya ayyuha allatheenakafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innamatujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona
|  يا أيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - "O| الذين - (you) who| كفروا - disbelieve!| لا - (Do) not| تعتذروا - make excuses| اليوم - today.| إنما - Only| تجزون - you will be recompensed| ما - (for) what| كنتم - you used to| تعملون - do."| |

| እላንተ የካዳችሁ ሆይ! ዛሬ አታመካኙ፡፡ የምትመነዱት ያንን ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን ብቻ ነው (ይባላሉ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يا أيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم } يقال لهم ذلك عند دخولهم النار، أي لأنه لا ينفعكم { إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون } أي جزاءه . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | হে কাফের সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আজ ওযর পেশ করো না। তোমাদেরকে তারই প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে, যা তোমরা করতে। |
| Literal | You, you those who disbelieved, do not apologize/excuse yourselves the day/today, but/truly you are being reimbursed what you were making/doing . |
| Yusuf Ali | (They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!" |
