[62:5] | Mathalu allatheena hummiloo alttawratathumma lam yahmilooha kamathali alhimariyahmilu asfaran bi/sa mathalu alqawmi allatheenakaththaboo bi-ayati Allahi waAllahula yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
|  مثل الذين حملوا التوراة ثم لم يحملوها كمثل الحمار يحمل أسفارا بئس مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآيات الله والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |

| የእነዚያ ተውራትን የተጫኑትና ከዚያም ያልተሸከሟት (ያልሠሩባት) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መጽሐፎችን እንደሚሸከም አህያ ብጤ ነው፡፡ የእነዚያ በአላህ አንቀጾች ያስተባበሉት ሕዝቦች ምሳሌ ከፋ፡፡ አላህም በዳዮችን ሕዝቦች አይመራም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { مثل الذين حملوا التوراة } كلفوا العمل بها { ثم لم يحملوها } لم يعملوا بما فيها من نعته صلى الله عليه وسلم فلم يؤمنوا به { كمثل الحمار يحمل أسفارا } أي كتبا في عدم انتفاعه بها { بئس مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآيات الله } المصدقة للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والمخصوص بالذم محذوف تقديره هذا المثل {والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين} الكافرين. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যাদেরকে তওরাত দেয়া হয়েছিল, অতঃপর তারা তার অনুসরণ করেনি, তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেই গাধা, যে পুস্তক বহন করে, যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত কত নিকৃষ্ট। আল্লাহ জালেম সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। |
| Literal | (The) example/proverb (of) those who were made to carry/endure the Torah then they did not carry/endue it (are) as/like (the) example/proverb (of) the donkey, (it) carries/endures portions of the Torah , how bad (is the) example/proverb (of) the nation those who denied/falsified with God's verses/evidences? And God does not guide the nation the unjust/oppressive. |
| Yusuf Ali | The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong. |
| Pickthal | The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. |
