| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[60:11] | Wa-in fatakum shay-on min azwajikumila alkuffari faAAaqabtum faatoo allatheenathahabat azwajuhum mithla ma anfaqoo waittaqooAllaha allathee antum bihi mu/minoona
|  وإن فاتكم شيء من أزواجكم إلى الكفار فعاقبتم فآتوا الذين ذهبت أزواجهم مثل ما أنفقوا واتقوا الله الذي أنتم به مؤمنون
وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُم مِّثْلَ مَا أَنفَقُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| فاتكم - have gone from you| شيء - any| من - of| أزواجكم - your wives| إلى - to| الكفار - the disbelievers| فعاقبتم - then your turn comes,| فآتوا - then give| الذين - (to) those who| ذهبت - have gone,| أزواجهم - their wives,| مثل - (the) like| ما - (of) what| أنفقوا - they had spent.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| الذي - (in) Whom,| أنتم - you,| به - [in Him]| مؤمنون - (are) believers.| |

| ከሚስቶቻችሁም ወደ ከሓዲዎቹ አንዳቸው ቢያመልጧችሁ ቀጥሎም ብትዘምቱባቸው ለእነዚያ ሚስቶቻቸው ለኼዱባቸው (ሰዎች) ያወጡትን ብጤ ስጧቸው፡፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ ያመናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن فاتكم شيء من أزواجكم } أي واحدة فأكثر منهن أو شيء من مهور بالذهاب { إلى الكفار } مرتدات { فعاقبتم } فغزوتم وغنمتم { فآتوا الذين ذهبت أزواجهم } من الغنيمة { مثل ما أنفقوا } لفواته عليهم من جهة الكفار { واتقوا الله الذي أنتم به مؤمنون } وقد فعل المؤمنون ما أمروا به من الإيتاء للكفار والمؤمنين ثم ارتفع هذا الحكم . |
| Ma terwel tmeîîut, si tlawin nnwen, ar ijehliyen, sinna, tâaqbem, efket, ayen ûûeôfen, i wid iwumi ôôuêent tlawin nnsen. Ëezzbet i Öebbi, syiS ay tumnem. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফেরদের কাছে থেকে যায়, অতঃপর তোমরা সুযোগ পাও, তখন যাদের স্ত্রী হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে, তাদেরকে তাদের ব্যয়কৃত অর্থের সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাস রাখ। |
| Literal | And if a thing passed you from your spouses to the disbelievers, (so if you lost some of your possessions to disbelieving wives that left you) so you punished , so bring those whom their spouses went/took away (reimburse spouses of disbelievers) similar/equal (to) what they spent, and fear and obey God, whom you are with (in) Him believing. |
| Yusuf Ali | And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe. |
| Pickthal | And if any of your wives have gone from you unto the disbelievers and afterward ye have your turn (of triumph), then give unto those whose wives have gone the like of that which they have spent, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers. |

| Sarwar | If your wives go away from you to disbelievers who will not give you back the dowry which you spent on them, let the Muslims pay back such dowry from the property of the disbelievers which may come into their hands. Have fear of God in whom you believe. |
| H/K/Saheeh | And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers. |
| Malik | If you do not get back the demanded amount that you have spent on your disbelieving wives from the unbelievers, and your turn comes, to pay the demanded amount of Muslim wives to the unbelievers, you can offset the amount and pay those whose wives have fled the equivalent of the amount they have spent on their disbelieving wives. Fear Allah, in Whom you believe.[11] |
