بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [6:80] | Wahajjahu qawmuhu qala atuhajjoonneefee Allahi waqad hadani wala akhafu matushrikoona bihi illa an yashaa rabbee shay-anwasiAAa rabbee kulla shay-in AAilman afala tatathakkaroona
| وحاجه قومه قال أتحاجوني في الله وقد هدان ولا أخاف ما تشركون به إلا أن يشاء ربي شيئا وسع ربي كل شيء علما أفلا تتذكرون وَحَآجَّهُ قَوْمُهُ قَالَ أَتُحَاجُّونِّي فِي اللّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانِ وَلاَ أَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ رَبِّي شَيْئًا وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا أَفَلاَ تَتَذَكَّرُونَ |
Words | |وحاجه - And argued with him| قومه - his people.| قال - He said,| أتحاجوني - "Do you argue with me| في - concerning| الله - Allah| وقد - while certainly| هدان - He has guided me?| ولا - And not| أخاف - (do) I fear| ما - what| تشركون - you associate| به - with Him,| إلا - unless| أن - [that]| يشاء - wills| ربي - my Lord| شيئا - anything.| وسع - Encompasses| ربي - my Lord| كل - every| شيء - thing| علما - (in) knowledge.| أفلا - Then will not| تتذكرون - you take heed?| |

| ወገኖቹም ተከራከሩት፡፡ «በአላህ (አንድነት) በእርግጥ የመራኝ ሲኾን ትከራከሩኛላችሁን በእርሱም የምታጋሩትን ነገር አልፈራም፡፡ ግን ጌታዬ ነገርን ቢሻ (ያገኘኛል)፡፡ ጌታዬም ነገሩን ሁሉ ዕውቀቱ ሰፋ፡፡ አትገነዘቡምን» አላቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وحاجَّه قومه } جادلوه في دينه وهدَّدوه بالأصنام أن تصيبه بسوء إن تركها { قال أتُحَآجُّونِّي } بتشديد النون وتخفيفها بحذف إحدى النونين وهي نون الرفع عند النحاة ونون الوقاية عند القراء أتجادلونني { في } وحدانية { الله وقد هدان } تعالى إليها { ولا أخاف ما تشركونـ } ـه { به } من الأصنام أن تصيبني بسوء لعدم قدرتها على شيء { إلا } لكن { أن يشاء ربي شيئا } من المكروه يصيبني فيكون { وسع ربي كل شيء علما } أي وسع علمه كل شيء { أفلا تتذكرون } هذا فتؤمنون . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাঁর সাথে তার সম্প্রদায় বিতর্ক করল। সে বললঃ তোমরা কি আমার সাথে আল্লাহর একত্ববাদ সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করছ; অথচ তিনি আমাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন। তোমরা যাদেরকে শরীক কর, আমি তাদেরকে ভয় করি না তবে আমার পালকর্তাই যদি কোন কষ্ট দিতে চান। আমার পালনকর্তাই প্রত্যেক বস্তুকে স্বীয় জ্ঞান দ্বারা বেষ্টন করে আছেন। তোমরা কি চিন্তা কর না ? |
Literal | And his nation disputed with him, he said: "Do you argue/dispute with me in God and He had guided me, and I do not fear what you share/make partners (with God) with it, except that my lord wills/wants a thing, my lord spread/enriched every thing (in) knowledge, so do you not think?" |
Yusuf Ali | His people disputed with him. He said: "(Come) ye to dispute with me, about Allah, when He (Himself) hath guided me? I fear not (the beings) ye associate with Allah: Unless my Lord willeth, (nothing can happen). My Lord comprehendeth in His knowledge all things. Will ye not (yourselves) be admonished? |
Pickthal | His people argued with him. He said: Dispute ye with me concerning Allah when He hath guided me? I fear not at all that which ye set up beside Him unless my Lord willeth aught. My Lord includeth all things in His knowledge. Will ye not then remember? |
