| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:69] | Wama AAala allatheenayattaqoona min hisabihim min shay-in walakinthikra laAAallahum yattaqoona
|  وما على الذين يتقون من حسابهم من شيء ولكن ذكرى لعلهم يتقون
وَمَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَلَـكِن ذِكْرَى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| على - (is) on| الذين - those who| يتقون - fear (Allah)| من - of| حسابهم - their account| من - [of]| شيء - anything;| ولكن - but| ذكرى - (for) reminder,| لعلهم - so that they may| يتقون - fear (Allah).| |

| በእነዚያም በሚጠነቀቁት ላይ ከሒሳባቸው ምንም የለባቸውም፡፡ ግን ይጠነቀቁ ዘንድ መገሰጽ (አለባቸው)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما على الذين يتقون } الله { من حسابهم } أي الخائضين { من } زائدة { شيء } إذا جالسوهم { ولكن عليهم { ذكرى } تذكرة لهم وموعظة { لعلهم يتقون } الخوض . |
| Ur isefk ara i wid ipêezziben, a ten êasben deg wacemma. Maca d asmekti, amar ad êezzben. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এদের যখন বিচার করা হবে তখন পরহেযগারদের উপর এর কোন প্রভাব পড়বে না; কিন্তু তাদের দায়িত্ব উপদেশ দান করা যাতে ওরা ভীত হয়। |
| Literal | And there is not from a thing on those who fear and obey (God) from their account/calculation (those who fear and obey God need not worry about their account), and but (it is) a remembrance/reminder, maybe they fear and obey. |
| Yusuf Ali | On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah. |
| Pickthal | Those who ward off (evil) are not accountable for them in aught, but the Reminder (must be given them) that haply they (too) may ward off (evil). |
| Arberry | Nothing of their account falls upon those that are godfearing; but a reminding; haply they will be godfearing. |
| Shakir | And nought of the reckoning of their (deeds) shall be against those who guard (against evil), but (theirs) is only to remind, haply they may guard. |
| Sarwar | But those who observe piety (commit no sin) by sitting with the (unbelievers) in order to preach (the Truth) so that they, too, may become pious. |
| H/K/Saheeh | And those who fear Allah are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him. |
| Malik | Though righteous people will not be held responsible for wrongdoers' actions, yet it is their duty to admonish them; perhaps they may refrain from evil deeds.[69] |
| Maulana Ali** | And those who keep their duty are not accountable for them in aught but (theirs) is only to remind; haply they may guard against evil. |
| Free Minds | And the righteous are not required to take responsibility for them, but a reminder so perhaps they will be aware. |
