بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [6:20] | Allatheena ataynahumualkitaba yaAArifoonahu kama yaAArifoona abnaahumallatheena khasiroo anfusahum fahum la yu/minoona
| الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمُ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
Words | |الذين - Those (to) whom| آتيناهم - We have given them| الكتاب - the Book| يعرفونه - they recognize him| كما - as| يعرفون - they recognize| أبناءهم - their sons.| الذين - Those who| خسروا - lost| أنفسهم - themselves| فهم - then they| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe.| |

| እነዚያ መጽሐፍን የሰጠናቸው ልጆቻቸውን እንደሚያውቁ (ሙሐመድን) ያውቁታል፡፡ እነዚያ ከእነርሱ ውስጥ ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩት እነርሱ አያምኑም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه } أي محمدا بنعته في كتابهم { كما يعرفون أبناءهم الذين خسروا أنفسهم } منهم { فهم لا يؤمنون } به . |
| Wid iwumi Nefka Tazmamt, ssnen p, akken ssnen arraw nnsen. Wid isxesôen iman nnsen, ihi, ur ppamnen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যাদেরকে আমি কিতাব দান করেছি, তারা তাকে চিনে, যেমন তাদের সন্তানদেরকে চিনে। যারা নিজেদেরকে ক্ষতির মধ্যে ফেলেছে, তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না। |
Literal | Those whom We brought to (gave) them The Book , they know it as they know their sons, those who lost themselves, so they do not believe. |
Yusuf Ali | Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe. |
Pickthal | Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise (this revelation) as they recognise their sons. Those who ruin their own souls will not believe. |
Arberry | Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their sons. Those who have lost their own souls, they do not believe. |
Shakir | Those whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons; (as for) those who have lost their souls, they will not believe. |
