| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[57:29] | Li-alla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabialla yaqdiroona AAala shay-in min fadli Allahiwaanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yu/teehi man yashaowaAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
|  لئلا يعلم أهل الكتاب ألا يقدرون على شيء من فضل الله وأن الفضل بيد الله يؤتيه من يشاء والله ذو الفضل العظيم
لِئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِّن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ |

| (ይህም) የመጽሐፉ ሰዎች ከአላህ ችሮታ በምንም ላይ የማይችሉ መኾናቸውን ችሮታም በአላህ እጅ ነው፡፡ ለሚሻው ሰው ይሰጠዋል ማለትን እንዲያውቁ ነው፤ አላህም የታላቅ ችሮታ ባለቤት ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لئلا يعلم } أي أعلمكم بذلك ليعلم { أهل الكتاب } بالتوراة الذين لم يؤمنوا بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم { أن } مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها ضمير الشأن والمعنى أنهم { لا يقدرون على شيءٍ من فضل الله } خلاف ما في زعمهم أنهم أحباء الله وأهل رضوانه { وأن الفضل بيد الله يؤتيه } يعطيه { من يشاء } فآتى المؤمنين منهم أجرهم مرتين كما تقدم { والله ذو الفضل العظيم } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যাতে কিতাবধারীরা জানে যে, আল্লাহর সামান্য অনুগ্রহের উপর ও তাদের কোন ক্ষমতা নেই, দয়া আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, তা দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহা অনুগ্রহশীল। |
| Literal | For that The Book's people not know that they not be capable/able on a thing from God's grace/favour , and that (E) the grace/favour (is) with God's hand, He gives/brings it (to) whom He wills/wants/intends, and God (is owner) of the grace/favour/blessing, the great. (Jews and Christians all claim to be God's favourite, this verse states that God's mercy and blessing is to whomever He intends, and not exclusively to Jews or Christians).406 |
