| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[56:47] | Wakanoo yaqooloona a-itha mitnawakunna turaban waAAithamana-inna lamabAAoothoona
|  وكانوا يقولون أئذا متنا وكنا ترابا وعظاما أإنا لمبعوثون
وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ |
| Words | |وكانوا - And they used (to)| يقولون - say,| أئذا - "When| متنا - we die| وكنا - and become| ترابا - dust| وعظاما - and bones,| أإنا - will we| لمبعوثون - surely be resurrected?| |

| ይሉም ነበሩ፡- «በሞትንና ዐፈር፣ ዐጥንቶችም በኾን ጊዜ እኛ በእርግጥ የምንቀሰቀስ ነን? |
| آل الجلالين | { وكانوا يقولون أئذا متنا وكنا ترابا وعظاما أئنا لمبعوثون } في الهمزتين في الموضوعين التحقيق وتسهيل الثانية وإدخال ألف بينهما على الوجهين . |
| Llan qqaôen: "ma nemmut, nu$al d akal, akked i$san, day a d a$ d rren? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলতঃ আমরা যখন মরে অস্থি ও মৃত্তিকায় পরিণত হয়ে যাব, তখনও কি পুনরুত্থিত হব? |
| Literal | And they were saying: "Is (it that) if we died, and we were dust/earth and bones, are we being resurrected/revived?" |
