| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[54:2] | Wa-in yaraw ayatan yuAAridoowayaqooloo sihrun mustamirrun
|  وإن يروا آية يعرضوا ويقولوا سحر مستمر
وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| يروا - they see| آية - a Sign,| يعرضوا - they turn away| ويقولوا - and say,| سحر - "Magic| مستمر - continuing."| |

| ተዓምርንም ቢያዩ (ከእምነት) ይዞራሉ፡፡ (ይህ) «ዘውታሪ ድግምት ነውም» ይላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن يروْا } أي كفار قريش { آية } معجزة له صلى الله عليه وسلم { يعرضوا ويقولوا } هذا { سحر مستمر } قوي من المرة: القوة أو دائم . |
| Ma walan assekni, ad wexxôen, ad inin: "ipkemmil ssêur"! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা যদি কোন নিদর্শন দেখে তবে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং বলে, এটা তো চিরাগত জাদু। |
| Literal | And if they see an evidence/sign they oppose/turn away , and they say: "Continuous magic/sorcery." |
| Yusuf Ali | But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic." |
| Pickthal | And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion. |
