| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[53:29] | FaaAArid AAan man tawalla AAanthikrina walam yurid illa alhayataalddunya
|  فأعرض عن من تولى عن ذكرنا ولم يرد إلا الحياة الدنيا
فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّى عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا |
| Words | |فأعرض - So turn away| عن - from| من - (him) who| تولى - turns away| عن - from| ذكرنا - Our Reminder| ولم - and not| يرد - he desires| إلا - except| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| |

| ከግሣጼያችንም (ከቁርኣን) ከሸሸና አነስተኛይቱን ሕይወት እንጅ ሌላን ከማይሻ ሰው ዙር (ተወው)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فأعرض عن من تولى عن ذكرنا } أي القرآن { ولم يُرد إلا الحياة الدنيا } وهذا قبل الأمر بالجهاد . |
| Ihi, eoo win iwexxôen i usmekti nne£, i ib$an kan tudert n ddunit. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতএব যে আমার স্মরণে বিমুখ এবং কেবল পার্থিব জীবনই কামনা করে তার তরফ থেকে আপনি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন। |
| Literal | So turn away from who turned away from mentioning/remembering Us , and he did not want/intend except the life the present/worldly life . |
| Yusuf Ali | Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world. |
| Pickthal | Then withdraw (O Muhammad) from him who fleeth from Our remembrance and desireth but the life of the world. |
