| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[52:47] | Wa-inna lillatheena thalamooAAathaban doona thalika walakinna aktharahumla yaAAlamoona
|  وإن للذين ظلموا عذابا دون ذلك ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ |
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| للذين - for those who| ظلموا - do wrong,| عذابا - (is) a punishment| دون - before| ذلك - that,| ولكن - but| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| |

| ለእነዚያ ለበደሉትም ከዚህ ሌላ ቅርብ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቻቸው አያውቁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإنَّ للذين ظلموا } بكفرهم { عذابا دون ذلك } في الدنيا قبل موتهم فعذبوا بالجوع والقحط سبع سنين وبالقتل يوم بدر { ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون } أن العذاب ينزل بهم . |
| I wid idensen, s tidep, aâaqeb nniven, maca tegwti degsen, ur éôin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | গোনাহগারদের জন্যে এছাড়া আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না। |
| Literal | And that truly to those who were unjust/oppressive (is) a torture other than that, and but most of them do not know. |
| Yusuf Ali | And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. |
| Pickthal | And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. |
| Arberry | And there surely awaits the evildoers a chastisement beyond even that, but most of them know it not. |
