| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[52:44] | Wa-in yaraw kisfan mina alssama-isaqitan yaqooloo sahabun markoomun
|  وإن يروا كسفا من السماء ساقطا يقولوا سحاب مركوم
وَإِن يَرَوْا كِسْفًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُومٌ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| يروا - they were to see| كسفا - a portion| من - from| السماء - the sky| ساقطا - falling,| يقولوا - they will say,| سحاب - "Clouds| مركوم - heaped up."| |

| ከሰማይም ቁራጭን (በእነርሱ ላይ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ «ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው» ይሉ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ( وإن يروا كسفا ) بعضا ( من السماء ساقطا ) عليهم كما قالوا : "" فأسقط علينا كسفا من السماء "" أي تعذيبا لهم ( يقولوا ) هذا ( سحاب مركوم ) متراكب نروى به ولا يؤمنون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা যদি আকাশের কোন খন্ডকে পতিত হতে দেখে, তবে বলে এটা তো পুঞ্জীভুত মেঘ। |
| Literal | And if they see/understand pieces from the sky/space dropping/falling they say: "Piled/accumulated/heaped clouds." |
| Yusuf Ali | Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" |
| Pickthal | And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. |
| Arberry | Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' |
