| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[50:38] | Walaqad khalaqna alssamawatiwaal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittatiayyamin wama massana min lughoobin
|  ولقد خلقنا السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام وما مسنا من لغوب
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| خلقنا - We created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between both of them| في - in| ستة - six| أيام - periods,| وما - and (did) not| مسنا - touch Us| من - any| لغوب - fatigue.| |

| ሰማያትንና ምድርን በመካከላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ በስድስት ቀናት ውስጥ በእርግጥ ፈጠርን፡፡ ድካምም ምንም አልነካንም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ( ولقد خلقنا السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام ) أولها الأحد وآخرها الجمعة ( وما مسنا من لغوب ) تعب ، نزل ردا على اليهود في قولهم : إن الله استراح يوم السبت وانتفاء التعب عنه لتنزهه تعالى عن صفات المخلوقين ولعدم المماثلة بينه وبين غيره "" إنما أمره إذا أراد شيئا أن يقول له كن فيكون "" . |

The mention of the impossibility of God's ever being "wearied" by the process of creation connects the present passage with verse 15 of this surah and, thus, alludes to God's power to resurrect the dead.] |
