| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[50:36] | Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin humashaddu minhum batshan fanaqqaboo fee albiladi halmin maheesin
|  وكم أهلكنا قبلهم من قرن هم أشد منهم بطشا فنقبوا في البلاد هل من محيص
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ |

| ከእነርሱም (ከቁረይሾች) በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን እነርሱ በኀያልነት ከእነርሱ ይበልጥ የበረቱ የኾኑትን (ማምለጫ ፍለጋ) በየአገሮቹም የመረመሩትን አጥፍተናል፡፡ ማምለጫ አለን? |
| آل الجلالين | { وكم أهلكنا قبلهم من قرن } أي أهلكنا قبل كفار قريش قرونا كثيرة من الكفار { هم أشد منهم بطشا } قوة { فنقبوا } فتشوا { في البلاد هل من محيص } لهم أو لغيرهم من الموت فلم يجدوا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি তাদের পূর্বে বহু সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি, তারা এদের অপেক্ষা অধিক শক্তিশালী ছিল এবং দেশে-বিদেশে বিচরণ করে ফিরত। তাদের কোন পলায়ন স্থান ছিল না। |
| Literal | And how many We destroyed before them from (a) generation/century they are stronger than them (in) violent destruction/attack, so they searched/investigated in the countries/lands , is (there) from (an) escape/diversion? |
