| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[50:19] | Wajaat sakratu almawti bialhaqqithalika ma kunta minhu taheedu
|  وجاءت سكرة الموت بالحق ذلك ما كنت منه تحيد
وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ |
| Words | |وجاءت - And will come| سكرة - (the) stupor| الموت - (of) death| بالحق - in truth,| ذلك - "That| ما - (is) what| كنت - you were| منه - [from it]| تحيد - avoiding."| |

| የሞትም መከራ እውነቱን ነገር ታመጣለች፡፡ (ሰው ሆይ)፡- «ይህ ያ ከርሱ ትሸሸው የነበርከው ነው» (ይባላል)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وجاءت سكرة الموت } غمرته وشدته { بالحق } من أمر الآخرة حتى المنكر لها عيانا وهو نفس الشدة { ذلك } أي الموت { ما كنت منه تحيد } تهرب وتفزع . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মৃত্যুযন্ত্রণা নিশ্চিতই আসবে। এ থেকেই তুমি টালবাহানা করতে। |
| Literal | And the death's/liflessness's intensity/agony came with the truth that (is) what you were from it deviating/turning aside. |
| Yusuf Ali | And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" |
