[5:70] | Laqad akhathna meethaqabanee isra-eela waarsalna ilayhim rusulan kullamajaahum rasoolun bima la tahwaanfusuhum fareeqan kaththaboo wafareeqan yaqtuloona
|  لقد أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل وأرسلنا إليهم رسلا كلما جاءهم رسول بما لا تهوى أنفسهم فريقا كذبوا وفريقا يقتلون
لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلاً كُلَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ |

| የእስራኤልን ልጆች የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳን በእርግጥ ያዝንባቸው፡፡ ወደእነሱም መልክተኞችን ላክን፡፡ ነፍሶቻቸው በማትወደው ነገር መልእክተኛ በመጣላቸው ቁጥር ከፊሉን አስተባበሉ፤ ከፊሉንም ይገድላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لقد أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل } على الإيمان بالله ورسله { وأرسلنا إليهم رسلا كلما جاءهم رسول } منهم { بما لا تهوى أنفسهم } من الحق كذبوه { فريقا } منهم { كذَّبوا وفريقا } منهم { يقتلون } كزكريا ويحيى والتعبير به دون قتلوا حكاية للحال الماضية للفاصلة . |
| Ni$ Nga laâqed i At Isôail, Nuzen asen imazanen. Yal tikelt ara ten id ias umazan s wayen ur asen nehwi, wa a t skiddben, wa a t n$en. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম এবং তাদের কাছে অনেক পয়গম্বর প্রেরণ করে ছিলাম। যখনই তাদের কাছে কোন পয়গম্বর এমন নির্দেশ নিয়ে আসত যা তাদের মনে চাইত না, তখন তাদের অনেকের প্রতি তারা মিথ্যারোপ করত এবংঅনেককে হত্যা করে ফেলত। |
| Literal | We had taken Israel's sons' and daughters' promise/covenant, and We sent to them messengers, whenever a messenger came to them with what their selves do not desire, a group (some) they denied, and a group (some) they kill. |
