| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:62] | Watara katheeran minhum yusariAAoonafee al-ithmi waalAAudwani waaklihimu alssuhtalabi/sa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
|  وترى كثيرا منهم يسارعون في الإثم والعدوان وأكلهم السحت لبئس ما كانوا يعملون
وَتَرَى كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Words | |وترى - And you see| كثيرا - many| منهم - of them| يسارعون - hastening| في - into| الإثم - [the] sin| والعدوان - and [the] transgression| وأكلهم - and eating| السحت - the forbidden.| لبئس - Surely evil| ما - (is) what| كانوا - they were| يعملون - doing.| |

| ከእነርሱም ብዙዎቹን በኃጢአትና በበደል እርምንም በመብላታቸው የሚጣደፉ ሲኾኑ ታያለህ፡፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በጣም ከፋ! |
| آل الجلالين | { وترى كثيرا منهم } أي اليهود { يسارعون } يقعون سريعا { في الإثم } الكذب { والعدوان } الظلم { وأكلهم السُّحُت } الحرام كالرشا { لبئس ما كانوا يعملونـ } ـهُ عملهم هذا . |
| La tepwaliv aîas, degsen, p$awalen ar ubekkav akked wanfal, teppen leêôam. I icmet wayen xeddmen! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আপনি তাদের অনেককে দেখবেন যে, দৌড়ে দৌড়ে পাপে, সীমালঙ্ঘনে এবং হারাম ভক্ষনে পতিত হয়। তারা অত্যন্ত মন্দ কাজ করছে। |
| Literal | And you see many from them, quickening/rushing in the sin/crime, and the transgression/aggression ,and their eating the forbidden/possessions acquired through cheatery , how bad (E) (is) what they were73making/doing? |
| Yusuf Ali | Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do. |
| Pickthal | And thou seest many of them vying one with another in sin and transgression and their devouring of illicit gain. Verily evil is what they do. |
