| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:43] | Wakayfa yuhakkimoonaka waAAindahumu alttawratufeeha hukmu Allahi thumma yatawallawna minbaAAdi thalika wama ola-ika bialmu/mineena
|  وكيف يحكمونك وعندهم التوراة فيها حكم الله ثم يتولون من بعد ذلك وما أولئك بالمؤمنين
وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ التَّوْرَاةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أُوْلَـئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |وكيف - But how can| يحكمونك - they appoint you a judge| وعندهم - while they (have) with them| التوراة - the Taurat,| فيها - in it| حكم - (is the) Command| الله - (of) Allah?| ثم - Then| يتولون - they turn away| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| وما - and not| أولئك - those| بالمؤمنين - (are) the believers.| |

| እነርሱም ዘንድ ተውራት እያለች በውስጧ የአላህ ፍርድ ያለባት ስትኾን እንዴት ያስፈርዱሃል! ከዚያም ከዚህ በኋላ እንዴት ይሸሻሉ! እነዚያም በፍጹም ምእምናን አይደሉም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكيف يحكِّمونك وعندهم التوراة فيها حكم الله } بالرجم استفهام تعجب أي لم يقصدوا بذلك معرفة الحق بل ما هو أهون عليهم { ثم يتولَّون } يعرضون عن حكمك بالرجم الموافق لكتابهم { من بعد ذلك } التحكيم { وما أولئك بالمؤمنين } . |
| Amek ara k id asen, s aêuddu, u nitni sâan Tuôa, degs aêuddu n Öebbi? Sinna, deffir waya, ad wexxôen. Ur llin wigi si lmumnin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আপনাকে কেমন করে বিচারক নিয়োগ করবে অথচ তাদের কাছে তওরাত রয়েছে। তাতে আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আছে। অতঃপর এরা পেছন দিকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়। তারা কখনও বিশ্বাসী নয়। |
| Literal | And how (do) they ask you to judge/rule, and at them (is) the Torah/Old Testament, in it (is) God's judgment/rule, then they turn away from after that, and those are not with the believing. |
| Yusuf Ali | But why do they come to thee for decision, when they have (their own) law before them?- therein is the (plain) command of Allah; yet even after that, they would turn away. For they are not (really) People of Faith. |
| Pickthal | How come they unto thee for judgment when they have the Torah, wherein Allah hath delivered judgment (for them)? Yet even after that they turn away. Such (folk) are not believers. |
| Arberry | Yet how will they make thee their judge seeing they have the Torah, wherein is God's judgment, then thereafter turn their backs? They are not believers. |
