| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[47:13] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin hiya ashaddu quwwatanmin qaryatika allatee akhrajatka ahlaknahum fala nasiralahum
|  وكأين من قرية هي أشد قوة من قريتك التي أخرجتك أهلكناهم فلا ناصر لهم
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ |
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| قرية - a town,| هي - which| أشد - (was) stronger| قوة - (in) strength| من - than| قريتك - your town| التي - which| أخرجتك - has driven you out?| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them,| فلا - so no| ناصر - helper| لهم - for them.| |

| ከከተማም እርሷ ከዚያች ካወጣችህ ከተማህ ይበልጥ በኀይል ጠንካራ የኾነች (ባለቤቶችዋን) ያጠፋናቸው ብዙ ናት፡፡ ለእነርሱም ረዳት አልነበራቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكأين } وكم { من قرية } أريد بها أهلها { هي أشد قوة من { قريتك } مكة أي أهلها { التي أخرجتك } روعي لفظ قرية { أهلكناهم } روعي معنى قرية الأولى { فلا ناصر لهم } من إهلاكنا . |
| Acêal n at temdinin i yifen, di tezmert, tamdint i k id iéâan! Nesqucc iten, ur asen illi useîîaô. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে জনপদ আপনাকে বহিস্কার করেছে, তদপেক্ষা কত শক্তিশালী জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে সাহায্য করার কেউ ছিল না। |
| Literal | And how many from a village/urban city it is stronger (in) strength/power than your village/urban city which brought/drove you out? We destroyed them , so (there is) no victorior/savior for them. |
| Yusuf Ali | And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them. |
| Pickthal | And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper! |
| Arberry | How many a city that was stronger in might than thy city which has expelled thee have We destroyed! And there was no helper for them. |
| Shakir | And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them. |

| Khalifa** | Many a community was much stronger than the community that evicted you from your town; when we annihilated them, no one could help them. |
| Hilali/Khan** | And many a town, stronger than your town (Makkah) (O Muhammad SAW) which has driven you out We have destroyed. And there was none to help them. |
