| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[47:14] | Afaman kana AAala bayyinatinmin rabbihi kaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi waittabaAAooahwaahum
|  أفمن كان على بينة من ربه كمن زين له سوء عمله واتبعوا أهواءهم
أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ |
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who| كان - is| على - on| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربه - his Lord| كمن - like (he) who,| زين - is made attractive| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deeds| واتبعوا - while they follow| أهواءهم - their desires.| |

| ከጌታው በኾነች አስረጅ ላይ የኾነ ምእመን ክፉ ሥራቸው ለእነርሱ እንደ ተሸለመላቸውና ዝንባሌዎቻቸውን እንደ ተከተሉት ነውን? |
| آل الجلالين | { أفمن كان على بيِّنة } حجة وبرهان { من ربه } وهو المؤمنون { كمن زُيّن له سوءُ عمله } فرآه حسنا وهم كفار مكة { واتبعوا أهواءهم } في عبادة الأوثان، أي لا مماثلة بينهما . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে ব্যক্তি তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত নিদর্শন অনুসরণ করে, সে কি তার সমান, যার কাছে তার মন্দ কর্ম শোভনীয় করা হয়েছে এবং যে তার খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করে। |
| Literal | Is who was on an evidence from his Lord as/like (who) his deed's evil/harm was decorated/beautified for him, and they followed their self attractions for desires ? |
