| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[46:24] | Falamma raawhu AAaridanmustaqbila awdiyatihim qaloo hatha AAaridunmumtiruna bal huwa ma istaAAjaltum bihi reehunfeeha AAathabun aleemun
|  فلما رأوه عارضا مستقبل أوديتهم قالوا هذا عارض ممطرنا بل هو ما استعجلتم به ريح فيها عذاب أليم
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُم بِهِ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |

| ሸለቆዎቻቸውን ተቅጣጪ አግዳሚ ደመና ኾኖ ባዩትም ጊዜ «ይህ አዝናቢያችን የኾነ ደመና ነው» አሉ፡፡ (ሁድም) «አይደለም፤ እርሱ ያ በእርሱ የተቻኮላችሁበት መዐት ነው፡፡ በውስጧ አሳማሚ ስቃይ ያለባት ነፋስ ናት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فلما رأوه } أي ما هو العذاب { عارضا } سحابا عرض في أفق السماء { مستقبل أوديتهم قالوا هذا عارض ممطرنا } أي ممطر إيانا، قال تعالى: { بل هو ما استعجلتم به } من العذاب { ريح } بدل من ما { فيها عذاب أليم } مؤلم . |
| Mi t walan d asigna id ileêêun ar t$wezza nnsen, nnan: "wagi d asigna ar a$ d iawin ageffur". Xaîi! D ayen i$ef têarem, d avu, degs aâaqeb aqeôêan; |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | (অতঃপর) তারা যখন শাস্তিকে মেঘরূপে তাদের উপত্যকা অভিমুখী দেখল, তখন বলল, এ তো মেঘ, আমাদেরকে বৃষ্টি দেবে। বরং এটা সেই বস্তু, যা তোমরা তাড়াতাড়ি চেয়েছিলে। এটা বায়ু এতে রয়েছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি। |
| Literal | So when they saw/understood it an obstructing cloud approaching/coming (to) their valleys, they said: "That obstructing cloud (is) raining on us." No/rather it is what you hurried/hastened with it, a wind/smell in it (is) a painful torture. |
| Yusuf Ali | Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty! |
