| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[45:9] | Wa-itha AAalima min ayatinashay-an ittakhathaha huzuwan ola-ika lahumAAathabun muheenun
|  وإذا علم من آياتنا شيئا اتخذها هزوا أولئك لهم عذاب مهين
وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| علم - he knows| من - of| آياتنا - Our Verses,| شيئا - anything,| اتخذها - he takes them| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| أولئك - Those -| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| |

| ከአንቀጾቻችንም አንዳችን ባወቀ ጊዜ መሳለቂያ አድርጎ ይይዛታል፡፡ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ አዋራጅ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا علم من آياتنا } أي القرآن { شيئاً اتخذها هزواً } أي مهزوءاً بها { أولئك } أي الأفاكون { لهم عذاب مهين } ذو إهانة . |
| Ma illa wayen iwumi isla, seg issekniyen nne£, ad ittihi fellas. I widak, aâaqeb isdullun. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন সে আমার কোন আয়াত অবগত হয়, তখন তাকে ঠাট্টারূপে গ্রহণ করে। এদের জন্যই রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তি। |
| Literal | And if he knew a thing from Our evidences/verses he took it mockingly/making fun, those for them (is) a humiliating/disgracing torture. |
| Yusuf Ali | And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. |
| Pickthal | And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom. |
| Arberry | And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them in mockery; those for them awaits a humbling chastisement. |
| Shakir | And when he comes to know of any of Our communications, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement. |
