1 [45:15] | Man AAamila salihanfalinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ilarabbikum turjaAAoona
| من عمل صالحا فلنفسه ومن أساء فعليها ثم إلى ربكم ترجعون مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ |
Words | |من - Whoever| عمل - does| صالحا - a righteous deed,| فلنفسه - then it is for his soul,| ومن - and whoever| أساء - does evil,| فعليها - then it (is) against it.| ثم - Then| إلى - to| ربكم - your Lord| ترجعون - you will be returned.| |

| መልካምን የሠራ ሰው ለነፍሱ ነው፡፡ ያከፋም ሰው በእርሷ ላይ ነው፡፡ ከዚያም ወደ ጌታችሁ ትመለሳላችሁ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { من عمل صالحاً فلنفسه } عمل { ومن أساء فعليها } أساء { ثم إلى ربكم ترجعون } تصيرون فيجازي المصلح والمسيء . |
| Win ixedmen ayen ilhan, i iman is; win ifalîan, mgal is. Sinna, ar Mass nnwen tu$alin nnwen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে সৎকাজ করছে, সে নিজের কল্যাণার্থেই তা করছে, আর যে অসৎকাজ করছে, তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে। |
Literal | Who made/did correct/righteous deeds, so (it is) for himself, and who did bad/evil/harm so on (for) it, then to your Lord you are being returned. |
Yusuf Ali | If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord. |
Pickthal | Whoso doeth right, it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong, it is against it. And afterward unto your Lord ye will be brought back. |
Arberry | Whoso does righteousness, it is to his own gain, and whoso does evil, it is to his own loss; then to your Lord you shall be returned. |
