| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[44:17] | Walaqad fatanna qablahum qawmafirAAawna wajaahum rasoolun kareemun
|  ولقد فتنا قبلهم قوم فرعون وجاءهم رسول كريم
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| فتنا - We tried| قبلهم - before them| قوم - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun,| وجاءهم - and came to them| رسول - a Messenger| كريم - noble.| |

| ከእነርሱም በፊት የፈርዖንን ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ሞከርን፡፡ ክቡር መልእክተኛም መጣላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد فتنا } بلونا { قبلهم قوم فرعون } معه { وجاءهم رسول } هو موسى عليه السلام { كريم } على الله تعالى . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের পূর্বে আমি ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তাদের কাছে আগমন করেছেন একজন সম্মানিত রসূল, |
| Literal | And We had tested/allured Pharaoh's nation before them, and an honoured/generous messenger came to them. |
